Swap Cards and Team Gifts for OnStage 2018

Hello everyone! Today I’d like to share with you my swap cards and team gifts from Stampin’ Up! OnStage in Orlando earlier in the month. I always wish I would start getting swaps ready earlier for these events. I never seem to have enough time! I did sign up for one organized swap (with some amazing demonstrators) and was able to make a few “extras” to share, for a total of 50 cards. I used the Lift Me Up stamp set and the soft color combo of Pool Party, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam. My favorite part has to be those Glimmer Paper clouds, though. You can never have too much sparkle!
We did have a fun team dinner one night in Orlando and these are the little gifts I made for everyone on the team. I decided to fill cellophane envelopes with an assortment of Godiva, Ghirardelli and Lindt chocolates and used the same stamp set and color combo.
I actually arrived in Florida 5 days before OnStage began. I had a nice visit with my mom and to be honest, she was a HUGE help in getting all of these projects finished on time. I couldn’t have done it without her. I brought all of the supplies down in my suitcase and we had a little assembly line going to get everything put together. My mom was the queen of Stampin’ Dimensionals and rhinestones but wanted nothing to do with the bows. Haha!
Here are 25 completed tags ready to be attached to their treat bags. I was a little worried that I was going to run out of cardstock but we made it work. We even got my stepfather to cut a couple of those sparkly clouds using the Big Shot, although his commitment to the project was short-lived. I don’t really see a lot of stamping in his future.
Here are both of the completed projects! We stamped and cut out 300 balloons, cut 375 clouds, punched 300 banners, used 600 rhinestones and tied 150 bows! Whew! It was a lot of fun to get them put together in time and I really enjoyed sharing them at the event.

I will be sharing an OnStage Recap video over on my Facebook Page soon to show you some of the fabulous things I received in Orlando, too. If you aren’t following my page yet, CLICK HERE. While you are at it, be sure to JOIN my Facebook Group where I share exclusive content only for members. Everyone is welcome!

I’ve listed all of the supplies I used to create these projects below. You can click on any of the photos to shop in my online Stampin’ Up! ® store.

Happy Bubble and Fizz Birthday Swaps

Hello there! As promised, I wanted to share my second card for my monthly team swap. Our theme this month was “Birthdays” and I don’t know about you, but I ALWAYS need birthday cards. I never fully realize it until it’s the 3rd month into the year and I have completely depleted my birthday card supply.

For my card, I decided to use the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set because, honestly, I realized that I have never inked it up for as long as I’ve owned it. #shameful I paired it up with the Bubbles and Fizz DSP. Do you have this paper yet? You can only get this paper when you place a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration. There are only a couple days left to take advantage of this awesome sale.
I stamped the balloon images and added some extra detail to them. The two balloons in the back were stamped in Versamark, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Love those tiny bubbles! For the balloon in the front, I stamped and then covered it in a layer of glue from the Fine Tipped Glue Pen. When you apply it in a thin layer, it dries clear.  Just remember to leave it alone while it dries. Just walk away. Walk. Away. Let it dry. This is where you have to exercise some patience. Trust me, it’s worth it! I can’t tell you how many times I wasted a perfectly good balloon because of my impatient fingerprints before I learned this lesson.

Finally, here is a quick shot of the inside of the card. As I have mentioned before, I am currently on a kick of decorating the inside of my cards along with the envelopes. I think when you go to the effort to make a card for someone, you really need to go “all in” and decorate ALL of the pieces. It doesn’t take a lot of extra time, since all of the stamps are already on your desk from creating the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today to take a peek at my card. Please leave me a comment to say hello. All of the products that I used to create my card are listed below. Click on any of them to head on over to my online Stampin’ Up! store. You can order anytime 24/7. If you have any questions, please reach out to me at: annemariehile@gmail.com. Remember, there are only a couple of days left to take advantage of FREE Sale-A-Bration products. Don’t miss out!

Have a HAPPY day! :)
