December 2022 - Stamping Sunday Bog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends! Today, I’m super-excited to share the December 2022 Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This hop is hosted by Sara Levin and we share on the second Sunday of every month.

Our theme for the month is “Hostess with the Mostest” where we are each sharing two projects for gift-giving (such as favors, table decor, wine tags, host gifts, etc.) just in time for the holiday season. Welcome, I’m so happy you are here today!
’Tis the season of treat holders! This time of year, I always need little “goodies” whether it’s for friends, neighbors, co-workers…the list goes on and on. I don’t know about you, but I really think presentation is so important when it comes to giving a gift. It’s that extra detail that makes it even more special to open it up.

Today, I am sharing two little treat holders using some of my favorite stamps and dies in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. The Christmas Season and Christmas to Remember stamp sets, along with the Seasonal Labels Dies are just perfect for the holiday season. I find that I reach for them a LOT when making cards and gifts. There is also the coordinating Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper which is available while supplies last. Right now, its still available at an amazing sale price, so grab a few extra packs while you can…I sure did.

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my projects below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post
Color Combo:
This is an easy little treat bag to assemble. It can hold anything from candy (I filled this one with Hershey Kisses) to jewelry, small cosmetics, tea bags…and SO much more. This bag is perfect for any occasion and is an awesome way to use up some of that Designer Series Paper hoard collection I know a few of you have in your crafty spaces. Just me? I didn’t think so! ;-)
Measurements and Details:
  • Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper: 5” x 7”
  • Score on short (5”) side at 1” and 4”
  • Score on long (7”) side at 3” and 4”
  • Fold, snip and glue tabs to create gift bag
  • Basic White Cardstock: die-cut the label from Seasonal Labels Dies and then die-cut with Stitched Greenery Die to create patterned background
  • Basic White Cardstock: scraps to stamp / die-cut berries and pine sprig. Stamp & fussy-cut the sentiment label with Paper Snips.
  • Silver Foil Specialty Pack: scrap to die cut leaf image from Seasonal Labels Dies
  • Accent berries with Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
  • Use a standard handheld hole punch on the top of the bag to add the ribbon closure
  • Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon Combo Pack & Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels
My second project for the blog hop is small box with a Designer Series Paper wrap. I originally created this box to hold a sweet treat (I think it was something from the Little Debbie line…haha) but learned that it was also great to hold a gift card as well. We give SO many gift cards during the holidays, It’s just fun to wrap them up and make them extra-fancy. There are actually plenty of little gifts that could fit in this box, it’s just a good one to have in your stash when you need it!
Color Combo:
The gift card kind of “leans” inside the box at an angle, which I think is fun because it pops it up a bit when the box is opened. It’s not an “exact fit” but I don’t think it needs to be. You could even tuck in some low-profile chocolates behind the gift card for a surprise treat. A little extra space just means more room for goodies! I also added some extra detail inside the box to "keep the party going" from the detail on the outside.
Gift Card / Treat Box Measurements and Details:
  • Evening Evergreen Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 6"
  • Score on short (5-1/2”) side at 3/4” x 4-3/4”
  • Score on long (6”) side at 3/4”, 2-3/4”, 3-1/2” and 5-1/2”
  • Trim box as shown below, burnish fold lines and fold together adhering small flaps with liquid glue
  • Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper: 3” x 6-3/4”, wrap around box adhering the overlapping flap on the bottom (Note: this is a “belly band” for the box, so wrap it tight enough to stay on the box but easy enough for the recipient to slide it on and off to open the box)
  • Silver Foil Specialty Pack: 3-1/2” x 1/2”, banner punch both ends with Banners Pick A Punch
  • Basic White Cardstock: scraps to stamp and die cut the label, pinecone and leafy accent
  • Accent pinecone with Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush for added sparkle
  • Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon
  • Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper (box interior): 3-3/4” x 1-3/4”
  • Basic White Cardstock (box interior): 3-3/4” x 1-3/4”, stamp sentiment in Soft Suede ink and leaves in Evening Evergreen ink
Here is a peek at both projects together! Fun, festive and pretty easy to create. I whipped up quite a few extra of these to have handy in the coming weeks. You just never know when you might need an extra gift for someone special.

I hope you enjoyed these projects today using the Seasonal Labels Dies, Christmas Season & Seasonal Labels stamp sets! Please continue along on the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop to check out more awesome creative gift-giving inspiration for the holiday season and beyond.

Positive Inkers Blog Hop - November 2022

Hello there stamping friends! I’m thrilled to blog hop today with the Positive Inkers Design TeamWe are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the globe who are super-excited to share our love of creativity. I’m so happy you stopped by today!

If this is the fist time you are visiting, please let me introduce myself. My name is Anne Marie Hile and I live in San Antonio, Texas. Welcome!
Our theme for this month is: Treat Packaging with a Matching Gift Tag

I decided to make a fun little set that would be great for so many occasions. With holiday parties coming up, this makes a wonderful gift for the host. It is also great for a housewarming, birthday or just a special treat to let someone know you are thinking of them.

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my projects below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.
I used products in the BRAND NEW Fitting Florets Collection which are available starting today, 11/1! This collection features the new Framed Florets Bundle which will be featured in the upcoming in the January-June 2023 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog. There are also three coordinating products in this collection which are “while supplies last”. (see below)

I’m currently obsessed with this collection and have been creating with it non-stop! Get more details HERE

The following exclusive products are only available while supplies last:

  • Framed & Festive Cling Stamp Set (item 160888)
  • Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (item 161814)
  • Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls (item 161822)
Color Combo:
My "treat packaging" is this sweet little box which perfectly fits two votive candles. Of course, there are many other treats that could fit in this box as well. When all else fails...add chocolate, right? The box comes together easily and the focal floral image is die cut from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper, which is great because the stamping and shading is already done! As a matter of fact, the only stamping on this project is the sentiment. So easy, especially if you are making multiples.
Box Measurements & Details:
  • Polished Pink Cardstock: 7-1/2” x 8-1/2”
  • On the short (7-1/2”) side: score at 2” and 5-1/2”
  • On the long (8-1/2”) side: score at 2”, 4”, 6” and 8”
  • Cut and trim the box using the photo below as a guide
  • Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (while supplies last): 1-3/4” x 3-1/4” (3 pieces) and 1-3/4” x 1-3/4” (2 pieces)
  • Add candles (or treats) to box and tie closed with Soft Succulent Open-Weave Ribbon.
  • Die cut banner from Stylish Shapes Dies and stamp sentiment in Momento ink
  • Die cut floral image from Fitting Florets DSP
  • Die cut leaves from Evening Evergreen Cardstock and Gold Specialty Paper
  • Add Wink of Stella to floral image for added sparkle.
My second project is a coordinating tag which is can be used a lot of different ways! It is perfect to dress up a bottle of wine, which is one of my favorite host gifts as we enter the holiday season. If wine isn’t your thing, this tag would also work to dress up a fancy bottle of gourmet oil, vinegar or maybe a specialty coffee flavoring.

I just love little tags like this because they are super-versatile and come together really quickly. I used a lot of the same elements as the box and the only stamping is the sentiment. I just can’t say enough about this DSP! I die-cut another floral image, same as the first and trimmed it down so the flower was a little smaller. I’m always a fan of DSP that has dies that will cut out the images. I’m going to need to snag a few more packs of this one. Remember, it is only while supplies last, even though the stamps and dies are carrying into the upcoming Mini Catalog. Finally, I popped on some of the Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls to accent the leaves. These are also while supplies last, so grab them while you can!
Tag Measurements & Details:
  • Polished Pink (use the leftover cardstock after cutting the box): 3-1/4” x 7-1/4
  • On the long (7-1/4”) side: score at 2-1/2"
  • Die cut the top or the tag with the third largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Soft Succulent Cardstock: 3” x 4-1/2”
  • Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (while supplies last): 2-7/8” x 4-3/8”
  • Basic White Cardstock: scrap to die cut the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies, stamp sentiment in Momento ink
  • Die cut leaf accents from Gold Specialty Paper and Evening Evergreen Cardstock
  • Die cut floral image from the DSP with the Framed Florets Dies, trim down
  • God Adhesive-Backed Swirls (while supplies last) and Soft Succulent Open-Weave Ribbon
