New Product Sneak Peek for Facebook Live

Hello everyone! For my Facebook Live video this week, I featured some cute cards with a couple  sneak peeks of new products that will be available in January from Stampin’ Up!®

On Fridays at 4:00 PM CST, I go Live over on my *Stampin’ Anne Facebook Page* with some fun Stampin’ Up!® projects. Please join me and if you can’t make it Live, you can always watch the replay. Also, I’d like to invite you to join my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Group for more updates, promotions, upcoming classes and exclusive projects. Everyone is welcome!

To check out the video for how these cards were made, click here: Flower & Field Facebook LiveI’ve also listed the measurements below!
My cards were a little mix of “something old and something new”. The stamped sentiments came from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set and the embossed detail comes from the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Both products will be available January 5th in the new Mini Catalog. The gorgeous Flower & Field Designer Series Paper can actually be earned for FREE with a qualifying order starting January 5th during Sale-A-Bration!

I paired the new products up with some of my favorites from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog:
  • Daisy Lane Stamp Set and Medium Daisy Punch
  • Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and Butterfly Duet Punch
The butterfly card was actually for my team card swap this month and I just loved trying the same layout with different patterns of the paper.

Simple Thanks for PP496

Happy Sunday! Time for a new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, Joanne is hosting our monthly Clean-and-Simple Challenge.
This month the theme for the challenge is: THANKS
Check it out and play along with us!
I don’t know about you, but I can never have too many thank you cards on hand to send out.   If you have visited me before, you may know that Clean-and-Simple (CAS) week is ALWAYS a challenge for me, especially with the layers. In my defense, this card really came together quickly because the dies did most of the work.

Yesterday, I spent the day with a dear friend of mine, catching up and stamping. It was SO fun to have someone to craft with after the past few months. The first thing I needed to accomplish on our “crafting day” was to create the card for this challenge. It’s always fun to stamp at someone else’s house because there are lots of new stamps and dies to play with. Haha! I pulled out a die set that I don’t have yet and got busy on my card.
The Detailed Bands Dies are really a fun way to dress up a card easily while focusing on the sentiment. They also can create a little wrap around the card, which I think is pretty cool. I decided to focus on the frame and the leafy accents and selected a thank you sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set. Now, once I decided on my colors and layout, I felt like I needed ONE more leafy accent, but it had to be a “solid” leaf to balance everything out. So, I grabbed the Forever Flourishing Dies for those silver leaves.
For my card layout, I was inspired by the current sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. I’m always inspired by the awesome creativity on their challenges every week.
Card Measurements and Details:
  • Bermuda Bay Card Base - 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • Gorgeous Grape Cardstock - 5-1/8” x 3-7/8”
  • Whisper White Cardstock - 5” x 3-3/4”, embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
  • Bermuda Bay Cardstock - scrap to die cut the frame from the Detailed Bands Dies, accent with Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
  • Gorgeous Grape Cardstock - scrap to die cut two leafy accents from the Detailed Bands Dies
  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock - scrap to die cut two leaves from the Detailed Bans Dies
  • Silver Foil Cardstock - scrap to die cut leaf accent from Forever Flourishing Dies

  • Accent card from with three rhinestones
  • Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 5-1/4” x 4”, stamp with butterflies from Butterfly Gala stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink
Finally, a peek inside the card. I stamped a couple of butterflies and left lots of space to write a handwritten note.
