Time for a fun new creative challenge over at The Paper Players!
This week, LeAnne is hosting our Clean-and-Simple (CAS) Challenge.
LeAnne came up with a really fun theme for this challenge, too. I sure hope you will get crafty and join us over at The Paper Players. We’d love to see what YOU create!

As soon as I saw the theme, I knew I had the PERFECT stamps for the challenge! The Crafting With You stamp set and coordinating dies are a "sneak peek" from the new 2023-2024 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog and will be available to order on May 2, 2023. This set has lots of adorable crafty images and the sentiments are pretty great, too. I think the dies are my favorite part though. That little paper trimmer just makes me happy! I love that you can slide a little piece of paper in there, too. SO cute!
I went with one of my favorite color combos, Black, White and Melon Mambo, to keep things simple. I also added the slightest bit of texture with the Stitched With Whimsy and Stitched Rectangle Dies. The itty-bitty heart was brushed with Wink of Stella and the trio of rhinestones are the finishing touch. The bling on the scissors is pretty adorable, right? I just love this card and I hope you do as well. I can’t wait to pop this one in the mail to my favorite stamping buddy. Life really is better when you are crafting, right?
Card Measurements & Details:
- Basic Black Card Base: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, score at 4-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”, die-cut with largest frame from Stitched With Whimsy Dies
- Basic White Cardstock: die-cut with 4-3/8” x 3” rectangle from Stitched Rectangles Dies
- Brights Designer Series Paper (Melon Mambo): 2-1/4” x 1-1/4”
- Basic Gray, Basic Black, Melon Mambo and Silver Foil: scrap to die-cut scissors, paper trimmer and heart
- Rhinestone Basic Jewels
- Basic White Cardstock (card interior): 5-1/4” x 4”, stamp sentiment in Memento ink
- Brights Designer Series Paper (Melon Mambo, card interior): 5-1/4” x 3/4”
Finally a peek inside the card with more of the stamps from the set! I added a strip of DSP for little Stampin’ Cut & Emboss die-cut to sit on along with the stamped sentiment. I just love that sentiment, don’t you? Cards truly are “handmade hugs”!
