Bloom By Bloom for Team Swaps

Hello there! I normally post on Sunday with my Design Team project for The Paper Players. We on currently on a “holiday break” so I thought I would share a fun card featuring a little sneak peek from the upcoming Stampin’ Up!® Occasions Catalog which launches January 3rd. I might have mentioned before that the new Bloom By Bloom stamp set is already one of my favorites. I love the bold florals and the colors in this suite are totally my jam. Bright and cheery colors just make me happy!
I created this card for our team swaps this month. We had a “simple stamping” theme. I know that “simple stamping” has a lot of different meanings out there. I decided to focus on the gorgeous stamp set, with a pop of the coordinating Designer Series Paper. Of course, I added a little bling, because that is how I roll. Simple stamping doesn’t have to be boring, right? I just love the color combo on this card, as well. So bright and cheery! My other card for our team swaps can be found HERE. The stamp set, bundle and DSP will be available on January 3rd when the new catalog launches.

I’m going to keep this post “simple" today. Before I go, I wanted to share a reminder that if there are products you are thinking about ordering in the Holiday Catalog, now is the time to get those orders in. From now through 12/31, any order over $40 (before tax and shipping) using the Host Code VBXBJRWR will receive a pack of rhinestones from me as an extra gift
Check out the Year-End Closeout HERE.

*The Bloom By Bloom stamp set and Happiness Blooms DSP will not be available to order until January 3, 2019.

Butterfly Gala for Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for December! We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all over the world sharing our love of stamping. We are all part of Kylie Bertucci’s training group where we are having a great time learning and growing our Stampin’ Up!® businesses. If this is the first time you are visiting my blog, welcome! My name is Anne Marie Hile and I live in the United States. I’m so glad you stopped by today!

My card features a sneak peek from the new Stampin’ Up!® Occasions Catalog which will be available to order from on January 3rd. I just love the products in the new Gingham Gala Suite and have featured three of them on my card today. The include the Butterfly Gala stamp set, the coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch and the gorgeous Gingham Gala Designer Series paper.
I don’t know about you but I just love stamp sets that have coordinating punches! This set has multiple butterfly images and they are so easy to punch out to add some dimension to your card. I kept my layout pretty clean so those beautiful butterflies could have the spotlight. I love how they look like they are “flying” off the card. So fun!

I added a little pop of texture to the background using the Polka Dot Basics Textured Impressions Embossing folder. Let’s talk about that sentiment. Opening an envelope to a “Hello Beautiful” sentiment is an instant day-brightener, don’t you think? As a finishing touch, I added a little sprinkling of rhinestones, because everything is better with a little sparkle. I made multiples of this card for our team swap this month. It’s so fun and “springy” and a nice break from holiday cards.

Card Measurements:

  • Highland Heather Card Base - 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Basic Black Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4”

  • Gingham Gala DSP - 1” x 3-3/4”

Making Christmas Bright for PP422

Hello and Happy Sunday to you! I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far. This week over at The Paper Players, the lovely and talented Joanne has a festive Color Challenge for us:
It’s hard NOT to make a holiday card with these colors, not to mention time is running out to get those Christmas cards in the mail. I wanted to add a fun pop of color to the mix and decided on Pineapple Punch as my third color. The making Christmas Bright stamp set seemed like a perfect choice to showcase the colors. I just love that this set has a coordinating punch!
First, I stamped and punched the bulbs, then punched out the bulb bases in Silver Foil paper for some shimmer and shine. I stamped the “cord” and then lined them up, adding Stampin Dimensionals to make them stand out a bit more. Originally, I had just stamped the “May your Christmas Be” sentiment directly on the cardstock but it felt like it wasn’t getting enough attention that way. So I popped it up on a Layering Oval and added a little 1/2” banner behind it . I also colored the banner with Clear Wink of Stella for a little touch of sparkle.

Than, I stamped the hanging stars from the set in Pineapple Punch and Shaded Spruce to frame the main image. I used my Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker to color in the stars and then finished them off with a touch of Clear Wink of Stella. I then added a little piece of the All is Bright DSP to keep the star pattern going and then added a simple red bow. It looks like a lot of work but it really came together quickly, once I decided on the layout. It’s just a cheerful little card, isn’t it?

Card Measurements:

  • Real Red Card Base - 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • Shaded Spruce Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4"
  • Whisper White Cardstock - 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • All is Bright DSP 1” x 5-1/8”
  • Real Red Cardstock - 2-3/4” x 3-1/2”
  • Whisper White Cardstock - 2-1/2” x 3-1/4”

Finally, a peek inside the inside of the card, using a 1” x 4” strip of DSP along with more of the stamps from the set.

Won’t you join us and share your project this week?
