Pampered Pets for Facebook Live

Hello everyone! For my Facebook Live video this week, I featured three fun / fancy fold cards using the Pampered Pets Suite in the Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog. This suite features the Pampered Pets stamp set and the coordinating Pets Dies. To check out the video for how these projects were made, click here: Pampered Pets Facebook Live.

On Friday at 4:00 PM CST, I go Live over on my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Page with some fun Stampin’ Up!® projects. Please join me and if you can’t make it Live, you can always watch the replay. Also, I’d like to invite you to join my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Group for more updates, promotions, giveaways and exclusive projects. Everyone is welcome!
The first card starts out as a Gatefold card with some added fancy details! I originally found the idea for this style of card over on Pinterest which led me to BJ Peters’ blog. I made another card with this fold this past week and you can see it HERE

**I also want to mention that I have a link to a downloadable PDF with measurements for all of these projects listed toward the end of this post.
Don’t you love the way this card opens? It’s a great fold to use up some of that Designer Series Paper we are all stockpiling, too. Just me? Haha!
My second project is this adorable kitty card using another fun fold. What I love about this card is that even though it has a cool 3D effect, it still folds up to mail flat in an envelope! Pretty cool, right?

I’ve made a couple other cards using this fold, you can see them HERE and HERE
The final card was inspired by a fun fold that I received in a swap from my sweet friend Kurstan Del Rosario. I was kind of winging it for the design of this card on the video but I do like how it came together. I rarely use Pacific Point so it was fun to create this one Live.

A Paper Pumpkin Thing - Box of Sunshine

Welcome to the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop! I’m super-excited to be joining this awesome group of stampers for the first time this month. Welcome to my blog and thank you so much for visiting today!
We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators who love to share alternative project ideas for Paper Pumpkin, the monthly One Stop Box from Stampin’ Up! Today we are sharing ideas from the June 2020 Paper Pumpkin - Box of Sunshine! This kit is truly one of my favorites.
My alternative projects feature a fun fold card and a treat box which can hold a variety of little goodies to spread some sunshine to the recipient.
The particular fun/fancy fold card is called either a pop-up card or a shelf card, depending on where you look. What I love about this particular style of card is that is has that “Wow-Factor” but still folds flat to mail.
For this card, I used the following components in the Paper Pumpkin Box:
  • Die cut lemons and leaves
  • Polka dot sticker strip
  • Adhesive backed sequins
  • Box of Sunshine stamp set
  • Basic Black Ink Spot
  • Stampin Dimensionals
I added in a few other items, like cardstock, designer series paper, a punch, an embossing folder and some additional adhesive to show how you can step-up your Paper Pumpkin just a little more. I have a list of the supplies I used at the end of this post.
Want the measurements for this card and the coordinating treat box? Click HERE for the PDF tutorial.
I created the coordinating gift box around one of the polka-dot stickers from the Paper Pumpkin Box. The box itself comes together really easily and has an open top, which would work for a variety of different treats. For this box, I filled a 6” x 8” Cello Bag with some Werther’s Original candies. I filled one side of the bag and then folded the other side over to make it a little smaller to fit into the box, then tied it closed with some ribbon. You can fit about 16-20 pieces of candy in the bag to fit comfortably in the box.
In addition to the kit components, I added some cardstock, ribbon and the cello bag. Everything else was in the Paper Pumpkin box!

Again, you can get the measurements for this box and the coordinating fun fold card by clicking HERE for the free PDF.
Lastly, since I mentioned using additional cardstock, here are my cards from the kit with a couple additional layers. I had a fun crafting day with a friend over the weekend and put these together while we were chatting away. What I love about Paper Pumpkin is that you can create your projects YOUR way. Paper Pumpkin is truly for every stamper, whether you are a beginner or more of an avid stamper.
