Sparkle - Fun Fold - Embossing (heat)
Ribbon - Embossing - Pastels
Tic-Tac-Toe week is so much fun! I love all of the options to really get the creative mojo working. There are so many possibilities! In the end, I ended up using elements from FOUR rows on the board. Hooray! I sure hope you will take this challenge for a spin and join us over at The Paper Players. We’d love to see what YOU create!
*I’ve shared a full supply list of products (and a link to a video with measurements) used to create this card at the end of this post.
This is an easy and practical gift card holder “fun fold”. I let the Tic-Tac-Toe board inspire me and I landed on the Latte Love stamps and dies because I give a "whole latte” gift cards to places like Starbucks, Dunkin’ and even Panera.
Are you a coffee fan? Or is tea…or even cocoa more of a favorite? I tend to like hot beverages in the cool months, which are few and far between here in south Texas. However, I’m a cold brew coffee fan ALL the way…with Oat or Coconut milk. Yum!!!
There is also a Natural Polka Dot Trim in the Suite along with some cool embellishments (which will be back in stock soon!). I opted for the Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems instead though for this card because you can never go wrong with sparkle and I liked that there were two sizes to choose from.
If you’d like measurements and a tutorial
showing how this card came together,
please check out the video link below.
In the video, I originally added a bow tied from Gold Simply Elegant Trim. I then decided, I liked Linen Thread just a little it better on the card, so switched it outdoor my final project.
You can see a close-up of the gift card holder on the interior of the fun fold below. I stamped a couple of coffee “splats” in Crumb Cake ink to keep the caffeinated party going from the front to the inside of the card. I also die-cut a trio of little espresso beans from the DSP, brushed with Wink of Stella for added sparkle.
I was determined to use that Natural Polka-Dot Trim somewhere on the card. It’s kind of “ribbon”, right? So I added a little strip behind the sentiment. it adds great texture and not a lot of extra bulk. i think it added some extra interest to the interior sentiment, don’t you? There is also lots of room to write a little note inside, too.
I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for this fun Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday April 5th, 2024.
