This week, Laurie is hosting our monthly Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.
My card covers the TWO middle rows on the Tic-Tac-Toe board:
- Red - Embossing - Sparkle
- Animal - Embossing - Markers

Color Combo:
I decided to use the adorable Hot Dog stamp set for my card. This is such a FUN little set from the Stampin’ Up!® January - June Mini Catalog. I just love all of the little “bits” and accessories really give these little puppers some personality. The little beret and scarf just make me smile. So cute, right? Plus, who doesn’t love a “punny” sentiment?
I added a little brick texture in the background and a baker’s twine bow, but other than that just focused on the stamp set. It’s a great set to color with Stampin’ Blends Markers, too.
Card Measurements and Details:
- Basic Black Card Base: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
- Real Red Cardstock: 5-1/4” x 4”
- Smoky Slate Cardstock: 5-1/8” x 3-7/8”, emboss using Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder
- Real Red Cardstock: 5-1/8” x 1-1/2”, randomly stamp bones across bottom of layer
- Basic White Cardstock: 4-1/2” x 2-1/4”, stamp dog images, hat and scarf in Momento ink and color using Stampin’ blends. Stamp heart in Real Red ink and accent with Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
- Besic White Cardstock: 2-1/4” x 1/2”, stamp sentiment in Momento ink and snip of bot ends at an angle
- Wrap baker’s twine around card and add bow
- Add a rhinestone to the dog’s collar
- Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 5-1/4” x 4”
