On Friday at 4:00 PM CST, I go Live over on my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Page with some fun Stampin’ Up!® projects. Please join me and if you can’t make it Live, you can always watch the replay. Also, I’d like to invite you to join my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Group for more updates, promotions, upcoming classes and exclusive projects. Everyone is welcome!
For Facebook Live, I shared three alternative projects using the July Paper Pumpkin and the coordinating Add-On Card Kit that Stampin’ Up! featured to coordinate with this kit. what I love about Paper Pumpkin is that it truly for EVERY level of stamper. Whether you just want a fabulous kit of products and pre-planned ideas sent to you every month to just put together “as designed” or you want to “step up” your projects a little more with additional supplies…the kits truly feature something for everyone.

My first card featured heat embossing the stamped images for some added glitz and glam to those fun fireworks.

Card Measurements:
  • Calypso Coral Card Base - 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Card from Summer Nights Add-on Kit - cut card front at 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, cut the white card base to 4” x 5-1/4” to use to line the inside the card
  • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock - die cut the 2-1/4” oval from Stitched Shapes Dies
  • Gold Foil - 2-7/8” x 1/2”, use Tailored Tag Punch to banner cut each end
  • Artistry Blooms Sequins and gold embossing powder
My next card featured a lot of the kit components paired up with the grassy silhouette image from the Field of Flowers stamp set. I love that it gives that mason jar a little “ground” to sit on.

 Card Measurements:
  • Nigh of Navy Card Base - 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Calypso Coral Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Postcard from Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin kit - trim to 3-3/4” x 5”
  • From Paper Pumpkin kit - two firefly dies, three star dies, vellum mason jar, blue twine and white label
My third alternative card featured the adorable little lanterns in the kit. I lined them up on a little Gold Foil “shelf” and used one of the Add-On Card Bases for the background.

Card Measurements:
  • Night of Navy Card Base - 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • Gorgeous Grape Cardstock - 5-1/4” x 4”
  • Card from Summer Nights Add-on Kit - cut card front at 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, cut the white card base to 4” x 5-1/4” to use to line the inside of the card
  • Whisper White Cardstock - die cut 4-7/8” label from Stitched Nested Labels Dies
  • Gold Foil - 4-1/4” x 1/2”, die cut the stitched scalp border from the Stitched Be Mine Dies and trim off ends at an angle
  • From Paper Pumpkin kit - five lantern die cuts
  • Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and Linen Thread

Basket of Blooms for PP501

Happy Sunday! Time for a new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, I am super-excited to be hosting our monthly Sketch Challenge.
Check it out and play along with us!
It’s no secret that I LOVE sketch challenges, so I had fun designing the sketch for this one. This sketch can be as simple or as layered as you’d like. I thought that little angled element in the background would be a fun little detail to accent the focal image.

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for this card below and there is also a full supply list at the very end of this post.

Color Combo:
My card uses the Basket of Blooms stamp set, coordinating Small Bloom Punch along with a sentiment from the Pretty Parasol stamp set which are in the Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog. I love to garden, so this set was a must-have. I just love how you can build little blooming “scenes” by layering the images. I just love the “wishing you warmth and sunshine” sentiment and thought it was a perfect match for both the stamp set and the sketch.

I added little pops of texture to the background and the flower pot for some added detail. I thought the subtle pattern on angled strip of Designer Series Paper also added a nice touch of texture as well. Of course, those bright flowers weren’t complete without some sparkle using Wink of Stella and a trio of rhinestones.
 Card Measurements and Details:
  • Just Jade Card Base - 4-1/4” x 11, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Whisper white Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Misty Moonlight Cardstock - 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
  • 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper (Just Jade) - 1-3/4” x 5”
  • Whisper White Cardstock - die cut a 4-1/4” rectangle from Stitched Rectangle Dies
  • Just Jade Cardstock - 3” x 3/8”, stamp and heat emboss sentiment, then cut banner end with scissors
  • Misty Moonlight Cardstock - stamp flower pot image from Basket of Blooms stamp set, fussy-cut, then emboss using Subtle 3D Embossing Folder
  • Daffodil Delight Cardstock - stamp two small flowers and fussy-cut
  • Whisper White Cardstock - scrap to stamp four flower images from Basket of Blooms stamp set (3 for front of card, one for inside card), color using Stampin’ blends and punch out using Small Bloom Punch
  • Twine bow and Rhinestones
  • Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 4” x 5-1/4”
  • 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper (Misty Moonlight, inside card) - 3/4” x 5-1/4”
Finally, a peek inside the card. I simply added another strip of the In Color DSP and a little floral accent with space to write a handwritten note to a friend.
