Daisy Lane Double Z-Fold Card for Facebook Live

Hello stamping friends! Today I wanted to share with you another “fun fold” card we created at my team meeting this month. This Double Z-Fold card is the third card we made at our meeting and everyone enjoyed putting this one together. You can find the other two cards we made HERE and HERE
This card has a fun “wow factor” and comes together pretty easily. I’ve listed all of the measurements below for you and if you’d like more details on putting the card together, please head on over to my Facebook Page for a video tutorial. I shared a Live video over there today. Click HERE to check it out

Today’s Colors:

At my team meeting, we made this card in a portrait/vertical layout and I thought it would be fun to make the same card in a landscape/horizontal layout on Facebook Live today. None of the measurements change to switch up the layout, you just change up your stamping a little bit.

Which card layout do you prefer? I can’t really decide, although my team unanimously voted for the portrait/vertical layout at the meeting.
Card Measurements:

  • Merry Merlot Cardstock - 4-1/4” x 11”, score at 5-1/2” and then score again on the front flap at 2-3/4”
  • Pear Pizzazz Cardstock - 3-1/4” x 9”, on long side score at 3” and 6”
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock - 2-3/4” x 3” (2 pieces)
  • Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper - 4” x 5-1/4” (inside), 2-1/2” x 4” (front) and 2-3/4” x 3” (inside fold)
  • Scraps of Rococo Rose and Merry Merlot Cardstock for stamped and punched daisies

On To Adventure for PP452

Hello there, stamping friends!
It’s time for a new challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, I’m hosting our monthly Sketch Challenge. As some of you know, I’m a BIG fan of layers on my cards. However, you can make this sketch as layered or as simple as you’d like. You can even flip it or change up the shape for the focal element. Just use the sketch as a guide. We would love to have you join us!
I actually created 3 different cards for this challenge but THIS one was the card I settled on. The On To Adventure stamp set from Stampin’ Up!® is stinking adorable! This little couple has “personality-plus” and I’m especially a fan of their itty-bitty legs. Seriously, y’all…SO CUTE!

Today’s Colors:

This was the first time in a little while that I used so many colors of Stampin’ Blends on one card. This is a GREAT set for coloring! I used the striped pattern from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper for my color scheme. It’s bright and cheery and perfect for this little jet-setting couple.

Card Measurements:
  • Pool Party Card Base - 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”
  • Whisper White Cardstock  - 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Calypso Coral Cardstock (embossed with Corrugated Embossing Folder) - 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper - 1-3/4” x 4”
  • Pool Party Cardstock -  4-1/2” x  2-1/4”
  • Whisper White Cardstock - 4” x 2”
  • Whisper White Cardstock (punched with Banner Triple Punch) - 2-5/8” x 5/8”
  • Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 4 x 5-1/4”
  • Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (inside card) - 1-1/4” x 4
Finally, here a look inside the card. I kept it simple with a coordinating sentiment and an extra strip of the patterned paper. This would e a fun card for a retirement, a move or to share with friends who like to travel.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project using my sketch. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday August 5th, 2019.

Be sure to stop by and say hello to The Paper Players Design Team
