Beautiful Autumn Bundle for Facebook Live

Hello everyone! For my Facebook Live video this week, I featured some new products in the August - December 2020 Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up!®. The Beautiful Autumn stamp set and coordinating Autumn Punch Pack are already a favorite and I had a lot of fun creating these projects this week.

To check out the video for how these projects were made, click here: Beautiful Autumn Facebook Live.

On Friday at 4:00 PM CST, I go Live over on my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Page with some fun Stampin’ Up!® projects. Please join me and if you can’t make it Live, you can always watch the replay. Also, I’d like to invite you to join my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Group for more updates, promotions, upcoming classes and exclusive projects. Everyone is welcome!

***I have a link to a downloadable PDF with measurements for all of these projects listed toward the end of this post.
My first project is probably one of my favorites! The Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper is absolutely gorgeous. Some of the designs have copper or gold foil accents and others just have a stunning mix of colors and patterns. The pattern I used for this card did not have foil accents, so I popped some in by using the new Brushed Metallic Cardstock adding a little scalloped border and banner accent.
I just love the layered sentiment on this card, don’t you? I also added some Wink of Stella to the little punched leaves along with a trio of Champagne Rhinestones.
My second project is a fun gift card holder featuring those little punched leaves and more of that awesome Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP. The little leaves make a fun wreath and I also really love the ribbon that coordinates with this suite. The Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack works beautifully with the DSP and adds a great pop of texture to your projects, too.
This gift card holder comes together pretty easily and can be used for any occasion with a little switch of supplies. Again, there is a link for all of the measurements for these projects toward the end of this post if you’d like them.
For my last project, I wanted to do something a little different and switch things up using this “fall” bundle with non-traditional colors for the season. I used inspiration from the catalog to create this card using a little bit of a brighter color palette and created a fun background be heat embossing the stamped images.

In the video, I used Rich Razzleberry for the sentiment and the little acorns, but I also created the card again (shown below) using Terracotta Tile for a different look. Which one do you prefer?

So Sentimental Cherry Blossoms for PP502

Happy Sunday! Time for a new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, Laurie is hosting our monthly Theme Challenge.
Check it out and play along with us!
This challenge came at a really good time, as I needed a wedding card for later this month. I never seem to have wedding or anniversary cards ready to send, so this is great inspiration to get going on a few extra to have on hand.

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for this card below along with a full supply list at the very end of the post.

Color Combo:

When I started making my card, I immediately was drawn to the Cherry Blossom Dies. I just love all of the awesome detail these dies add to a project. I layered them up with the branches and leaves and accented the flowers with one of my favorite embellishments: the Champagne Rhinestones. I also added my favorite “sparkle spray” to dress the flowers up a bit. I have mentioned this before but this is super-easy to make. Simply add a couple drops of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint to a Stampin’ Spritzer, then fill it up with rubbing alcohol. Then shake, shake, shake it up and spray for lots of fabulous sparkly detail. Tip: use 70% rubbing alcohol or less, because the higher percentages tend to make the paint “ball up” a bit.

One of my favorite stamp sets for all-occasion sentiments is So Sentimental. How perfect is this sentiment to celebrate a wedding? Best part, the sentiments in this set perfectly fit in the coordinating Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I popped in some Champagne Foil because I thought it was an elegant detail. I almost NEVER use a white card base but in this case, I just felt like it worked. One little tip I have is that if you are going to use Whisper White or Very Vanilla as a card base, it’s always best to use the THICK cardstock. It just holds up better as a card base because let’s be honest, nobody likes a “floppy” card base.
Card Measurements and Details:
  • Thick Whisper White Card Base - 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Champagne Foil - 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Peony Garden Designer Series Paper - 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, embossed with Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder
  • Whisper White Cardstock - scrap to stamp sentiment from So Sentimental stamp set and die cut using Stitched So Sweetly Dies
  • Early Espresso Cardstock - scrap to die cut two of the branches and flower “centers” from the Cherry Blossom Dies
  • Pear Pizzazz Cardstock - scrap to die cut leaves from Cherry Blossom Dies
  • Whisper White Cardstock - scrap to die cut flowers from Cherry Blossom Dies, spritz flowers with a mixture of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and rubbing alcohol (70% or less) in a Stampin’ Spritzer for added sparkle
  • Champagne Rhinestones
  • Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (inside card) - 3/4” x 5-1/4”
  • Add another die cut flower with leaves to the inside of the card using the Cherry Blossom Dies.
Finally, a peek inside the card. I simply added another strip of the DSP, a sentiment from the Floral Essence stamp set and a little floral accent. I totally forgot to link the Floral Essence stamp set in the product list below. You can find it HERE.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our Wedding / Anniversary Theme Challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday August 7th, 2020
