He’s All That for Facebook Live

Hello everyone! For my Facebook Live video today, I shared a fun masculine card using the He’s All That stamp set and coordinating All That Dies from the new 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog. Today was “On the Fly Friday”, I didn’t really have a project planned for Facebook Live and it was fun to simply create as I went.

Please join me over on on my *Stampin’ Anne Facebook Page*, where I do Live videos sharing fun Stampin’ Up!® projects. My set time for Facebook Live is Friday at 4:00pm CST, and occasionally I like to share additional Live videos when I’m able. Be sure to “Like” and “Follow” my Facebook Page so you get the notifications. If you can’t make it Live, you can always watch the replay.

You can catch the replay over on my YouTube Channel, as well. Be sure to subscribe while you are there! Click on the video below to watch the replay for today’s card:

Color Combo:
I just love this suite of products to create awesome masculine cards! I did struggle a little with the placement of the twine in the video but was able to make it work after I fidgeted with it for a while after the Live. I also decided to go back and heat emboss the sentiment and sponge some ink around the edges of the circle to add a little more depth. It’s a little detail but it adds a lot to the card!
Card Measurements & Details:
  • Basic Black Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Sahara Sand Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, embossed with Gingham Embossing Folder
  • Basic Black Cardstock: 2-1/8” x 4-3/8”
  • He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (tie & glasses pattern): 2” x 4-1/4”
  • He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (black/brown check pattern): 4” x 1-1/4”, punch or cut a banner on the right side
  • Basic Black Cardstock: scrap to die cut a scalloped circle (All That Dies)
  • Basic White Cardstock: scrap to die cut circle (Layering Circles Dies), heat emboss sentiment and sponge Sahara Sand ink around the edges

  • Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”
  • He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (inside card): 3/4” x 5-1/4”
Here’s a peek inside the card! I added in the Father’s Day sentiment from the stamp set along with a little pop of the DSP to coordinate with the front of the card.

Garden Birdhouses for PP591

Happy Sunday, friends!
Time for a fun new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, Laurie is hosting our Clean-and-Simple (CAS) Challenge.
The theme for our Clean-and-Simple Challenge is “House”. Initially, I scratched my head at this one because I wasn’t sure I actually HAD any current Stampin’ Up!® products with a house/houses on them. Turns out, I have two! Haha! It was kind of fun to go on a little scavenger hunt in my stamp studio for this challenge. And that’s what it’s all about…gotta get that creative mojo working sometimes, right? :)

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.
I decided to create my card with the Garden Birdhouses stamp set. A birdhouse still qualifies as a house, right? This stamp set is available in the current 2022- 2024 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog and although it’s not technically new, I’ve only inked it up one other time so it was time to break it out of the stamp case once again.

The colors for this card are Soft Succulent, Night of Navy and Soft Suede. I also popped in two tiny little bird visitors and colored them in a mix of Daffodil Delight and Pale Papaya so they would really pop on the card. I did add an extra background layer to the card base, but was really proud of myself for not adding any embossing to it. Not going to lie, it was really tough to restrain myself. I simply added a little grassy detail along the bottom to ground the focal image. I just love those itty bitty birds, don’t you? I just think they work so well with the sentiment. I accented both birds with Wink of Stella for a little pop of sparkle, too. It’s a tiny detail but it really looks awesome “in person”.

Card Measurements & Details:
  • Soft Succulent Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Soft Succulent Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”, stamp grass image repeatedly along the bottom in Soft Succulent ink
  • Soft Suede Cardstock: 2-1/2” x 4-1/8”
  • Basic White Cardstock: die cut a 2-5/8” x 4" rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles Dies, stamp and color images with Stampin’ Blends in Soft Suede, Soft Succulent and Night of Navy
  • Basic White Cardstock: scrap to stamp birds in Momento ink, color with Daffodil Delight/Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends, accent with Wink of Stella and fussy-cut
  • Soft Succulent Cardstock: scrap to stamp sentient in Momento ink, this around image and snip both ends at an angle, as shown
  • Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine
  • Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”, stamp images in Momento and Soft Succulent inks and color with Stampin’ Blends, as shown.
Finally, here is a peek inside the card! I added another grassy border along the bottom along with a birdhouse to “Keep the Party” going from the front of the card. The “Welcome” sentiment makes this card perfect for a few different occasions like welcoming a new neighbor, hosting a houseguest or in my case, to send to an awesome new member of my Stampin’ Up! team.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our fun         Clean-and-Simple “House" ChallengeWe’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday May 20th, 2022
