Fall Gratitude

Hello! Hope you are enjoying your Tuesday so far. Yesterday, I received a small order delivered by the wonderful UPS guy. I'm not going to lie...I get pretty excited when I hear that truck pull up in front of my house! :) I finally ordered the Day of Gratitude set from the holiday mini after I saw all of the beautiful projects people were creating with it. For example, I saw this card on SCS and loved all of the fun circles, so that was where I started.

The sketch was based on this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge:
My color combo came from last week's mix from The Color Dare:
(I missed the deadline but it was really a great mix of fall colors)
Color Dare #81
Peach Parfait
Rich Razzleberry
Sahara Sand

I'm also submitting this to the Top Tip Tuesday challenge: Anything Goes.
I think this is my new favorite stamp set! The images are so crisp and clean and they are just perfect for the season. After getting it all together I decided I really wanted to add some pearls to the card to tie together the Very Vanilla accents a little more. I added the 3 pearls at the bottom and then stuck down 2 tiny pearls on each leaf. I think it just added a little extra, somethin' somethin'. :) Of course, I didn't forget to dress up the inside of the card, too. I popped up the sentiment on a punched oval because I wasn't really sure if it is going to end up there permanently or not. It was a fleeting moment of indecisiveness. Thanks so much for visiting, I'd love to hear what you think.

  1. Gorgeous, love the images and the colors, lovin' the pearls that you added on the stems and the card. Ok, just love everything about the card! I agree, about the UPS driver, but I don't as excited as Lucky, he scares the driver.

  2. LOVE IT!!! This set is SO great and your card displays it beautifully!!
DUDE - I just made a "Fall" card using this sketch and placed three pearls in the same spot. I can't take pics until tomorrow afternoon but that made me laugh! Maybe there is hope for me yet!!

  3. What a beautiful design. The colors are outstanding!

  4. I love these colors. I think I really like that set now too!

  5. Anne, this is so pretty! Wow, I really love this color combo. I'll have to file that one away for future use.

So much love and thought went into this card, I can tell. It turned out lovely!

  6. Oh dear Anne, you make beautiful cards. I always check everyday to see if you created something and you keep surprising me.. You have a TALENT!!!! Thanks for inspiring me AGAIN :)
    Hugs, Pauline

  9. So pretty and I love how you did the inside too. Wonderful fall card.

  10. Love how you used the colours on this card!! That leaf image is darling and the embossed panel they are mounted on is perfect. Great card :) Congrats on your DT position too!!

  11. I like how you took the simple layout and jazzed it up with the addition of the circle elements. Great color combo - it says "fall" but could really be for any time of year.

  12. I love how you did these leaves in different colors, so cute, and those cute little pearls are so elegant.

  13. What a lovely card, both inside and out! I really like how you decorated the inside and how well it ties to the front.

  14. OH I love the little circles too! and the colors and the textures and the everything! *grin*

  15. LOVE this inside and out!! I'm kinda glad you were late...you would have beat me on the Color Dare, I think! LOL!!!
