Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #67: Theme Challenge

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Time for another new challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments! This week we are having some fun with ideas for gift-giving. The challenge is to create a 3-D project with a coordinating card, for ANY occasion. We hope you will join in the fun this week and play along! :)
My project had a very specific theme...can you tell what it is? Haha! I was actually being very proactive in making a gift for an upcoming occasion. I have a friend who just loves anything and everything "cherry-themed"! I picked up a small gift recently, with her in mind and found an awesome tutorial for creating the gift box from Erica Cerwin at Pink Buckaroo Designs. Click HERE to go directly to the tutorial page. (Thank you SO much, Erica for sharing this great idea!)
So, what does the box hold? A coordinating candle that matches the theme perfectly. I picked up the candles at Bath and Body Works and they were an absolute steal. Pair them with Erica's cute box and you have a sweet gift! If you can't find these particular candles, you could always use the box for a votive candle or even some chocolates (just skip the punched piece added to the inside). There are lots of possibilities.
I repeated the elements from the box onto the matching card and added the sentiment to the decorated inside:
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team has created over at the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog. We hope you will play along! Have a HAPPY day! :)
