Hand Stamped Sentiments #81- Banner Bash Challenge

Hi there! Happy Tuesday to you! It's time for a fun challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments. This week we are having a BASH..a "Banner Bash" and are showcasing projects featuring banners and/or pennants. The important thing is to have some FUN and get creative!
Shockingly, I did NOT use the Button Buddies set for this card. I KNOW...I kind of scared MYSELF with that one. Haha! Instead, the Pennant Parade set and matching Petite Pennants Builder punch were broken out of captivity for this card. I also decided that the Just Add Cake DSP was perfect for the festivities, too. This paper is awesome! I have seriously created 25 cards and 5 boxes...and counting... with ONE pack of paper!
There is a LOT of pattern and texture going on here, but hopefully it all works together. I wanted to try something a little out of my comfort zone. Of course, when anything feels like it is out of the norm, I just add glitter and bling and it seems to make it a little easier to come to terms with. :)

Here is the inside of the card, topped off with scraps from the front and a rub-on sentiment:
Before I go, I realized that I NEVER posted a photo of my little Ozzy after his trip to the "doggie spa" a couple of weeks ago. My dogs are officially turning into little "divos" with all this pampering they get. Sheesh!
Thanks so much for visiting today! Please join the "Banner Bash" over at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week!  Stop by and see what the rest of the lovely ladies on the Design Team have created, too. Hope you have a great day! :)

  8. Wow, there is so much going on here that I love! Isn't that DSP the best?! Love the quilted look at the bottom and the pennants are beautiful. I forget about adding texture with my EF on little things. It really makes the pennants pop on your card. So pretty!

  10. Such a fun card! Such happy pretty colors. I love the banners, textures & patterns together. That is amazing how many projects you've done with one pack of paper. I have the Just Add Cake coming this week after my party last week & can't wait to start playing around with it. I'll probably be too scared to use it for anything since it's so cute. NO, I must not hoard my paper.

I also like that you always add something special on the inside!! There are so many great colors and elements on this card. The yummy textures, the layers, the bling and that darn scallop ribbon that I can't seem to like yet....you made it work!! Go girl!!

  17. Layers, and tigers, and bears OH MY!!! Wow what a card! I had to look at this creation for like 5 full min. to see all of your elements. How do you even think of these things?? I want to know how in the world you tie those perfect little bows, I tried it on my card and MAN was that rough. Having sausage fingers really makes that a challenge. :-) I LOVE your card, I wish my creative brain worked like this- breath taking!!!
