Hello there! I'm not exactly sure where this week went...but it is Saturday already and time for another challenge over at Our Creative Corner. Phew! This week, the lovely Lori Rider is our hostess and she has whipped up a really fun sketch to try...on a SQUARE card. I decided, after making this card, that it really IS "hip to be square". Haha! Square cards are so much fun. I really need to make them more often. My card front measures 4-1/2" x 4- 1/2" inches and will need a custom envelope to fit it, but that's ok. I used the new Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper as my color inspiration. This paper was *free* during SU! Sale-A-Bration. Woot, woot! For more info, check out the left-hand side-bar for details. I am also really fascinated with anything that features a butterfly. (Must be all of this beautiful weather here in South Texas!) Actually, I recently pulled out the Beautiful Wings Embosslits die, after neglecting it for quite some time. Sometimes rediscovering those stashed-away stampin' goods can be a creative motivator, right? All of the supplies used are listed at the end of the post.
Thanks for visiting! I sure hope you will hop on over to the Our Creative Corner site and check out Lori's awesome sketch. The rest of the gals on the Design Team have created some wonderful inspiration, too. These ladies are absolutely fabulous! We hope you will join in the fun and play along!
