Really Good Greetings for Paper Players #154

Hello and Happy Sunday to you! This week at the Paper Players, our very own Nance has a fabulous trio of colors to create with. I really like how these colors pair up together. Honestly I think I may have used Baked Brown Sugar once since it came out, so it was nice to pull it out of the drawer. :)
I was also inspired by the sketch over at Mojo Monday. I looooove all of the layers in the layout.

I really wanted a fun mix of patterns and textures on my card, so there is a lot going on. Since the sentiment is the focal point, I wanted to play off of it with the embossed letters on the background. I was so excited to finally use the new Alphabet Press embossing folder. I honestly forgot I bought it. Oops! The chevron pattern (from the Positively Chevron stamp) was stamped in VersaMark ink and I added the little banner decorated with rhinestones at the last minute to balance out the colors a little bit more. All of the supplies I used are listed at the end of this post.
Please join us over at the Paper Players this week. The challenge is open through Friday, July 19th, 2013 at Noon (PDT). Stop by and say hello to the rest of the Design Team to see what they are sharing this week.

  9. You know, I had to giggle when I saw you used the mojo layout...when I saw it on the mojo blog in all it's layered glory, I thought that looks like an Anne Marie card! LOL. And you sure rocked it with all your paper choices--I like how all the patterns are small so they all coordinate perfectly. The textured button flower is just the icing on the cake. It's perfect! Thanks for rockin' my colors this week, my friend! ((hugs))
