I needed to make a "coffee-themed" thank you card for a good friend who did a big favor for me, so that was my inspiration for this card. I'm absolutely loving the Lullaby Designer Series Paper from the new SU! catty. It's not just for baby cards! Can I tell you a little secret? I made a promise to myself that I would NOT hoard DSP anymore. If you saw my stamp studio, you would know why I said that. There is an insane amount of paper in there! So, I only bought 2 different DSP packs from the new catty and I can't buy anymore until they are at least half gone. So far, I have not caved in, even though there are so many gorgeous papers in that new catty. I will stay strong....I can beat my DSP addiction! Haha! :)
The Perfect Blend stamp set is one of those sets that I use a LOT. It's fairly easy to fussy cut too, which is why every time I use it, I feel like a paper piecing rockstar. (Fussy cutting stresses me out.) I added the glimmer paper because it's not a card from me without a little bit of bling. Then I dug into the embellishment drawer and added a couple little details for fun. I listed the supplies at the end of the post.
Please join us over at the Paper Players! The challenge is open through Friday, June 27th, 2014 at Noon (PDT). Stop by and say hello to the rest of the Design Team to see what they are sharing this week. Don't forget to leave a comment and say hello. :) Have a great day!

I love the colors (and theme!) of your card today! And I have only bought two packs of paper too! But I am really wishing I could get more! Maybe I should do a paper share, huh?! Love your little arrow and how cool that the inside holds that gift card! Nice touch for your friend to give!
ReplyDeleteGreat card. I'd love to print out the supplies but it takes up too much space to copy and paste it and too much editing to make it just a list. Wondering how others like this new thing. I'm sure it's easier for you though. Anyway, I still love the card!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome card! I love the colors and the texture. The glimmer paper and the arrow are the perfect touches!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, AM! These colors are perfect for the theme--the champagne glimmer paper is so pretty with CC and BBS! Love the wooden arrow and how you finished the inside. I know what you mean with the DSP--I still have tons of it but I've really cut down too. Let's stay strong together, lol! Thanks for rockin' my sketch this week! ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteLove all your yummy layers, Anne Marie, especially the glimmer paper! What fun that it's a gift card, too!
ReplyDeleteTerrific card! The colors are lovely and the inside gift card pocket is a wonderful idea.
ReplyDeleteAnn Marie this is such a sweet card and i just love the colors and the way you made it a gift card holder too! Why do we always think of the gift cards as small wallets. This is going into my to-do list so I have one on hand. TFS.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
Super crisp, clean, and sparkly! Love this Anne Marie:)
