The Paper Players 400th Challenge Celebration

Hello and happy Sunday to you! I am over-the-moon excited to share some wonderful news with you today. The Paper Players are celebrating their 400th challenge and I was asked to join in the fun as a former member of their Design Team. I can’t even tell you how excited I am! Not only is this one of the BEST online paper crafting challenges around but the team is truly amazing. I had so much fun on this team and have so much admiration for my dear friends who share their awesome creativity every week. It’s hard for me NOT to get a bit teared-up trying to type this…I am absolutely honored that they asked me to join in the fun for the next two weeks. Thank you so much ladies and congrats on #400.
Sending you lots of hugs!
I sure hope you will join in the fun and share a project with us! The challenge will run for two weeks and there are some awesome prizes to win. Check out The Paper Players site for all of the details!  I’ll be back next week with another project to share for this celebration, because two weeks is WAY better than one for a celebration like this! :)
For my project this week, I decided to share a few of my favorite things: Broadway Birthday, Melon Mambo and lots of shiny details. I know, who knew I would make a PINK card, right? Haha! I added pops of Silver Foil Paper behind the “marquee” framing the sentiment along with the scalloped trim from the Seasonal Layers Framelits Dies.
The little dots on the sentiment were heat embossed in Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder which really made them pop.
For the popped-up balloon, I covered it in a layer of the Fine-Tip Glue pen to make it shine. It almost looks like it could also be a lollipop (a little?) and the shine really stands out “in person.” There is also a little Faceted Dot in the center of that bow, because you always have to add a pop of BLING, right? I just love that the Framelits coordinate perfectly with this set to create such awesome images for happy celebrations.
Finally, a little peek into the inside of the card. I think it’s always so important to keep the party going from the front of the card. Don’t forget to decorate those envelopes, as well. Those little details take your cards from “happy mail” to “SUPER HAPPY mail!"

Please head on over to The Paper Players to join in the fun! It would be awesome to see what you create for this “Celebration" challenge. Stop by and say hello to the rest of the team and before you leave here today, please leave me a comment to say hello so I know you stopped by. :)
