Today, I am featuring a “fancy fold” card using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and coordinating Gleaming Ornaments punches. I also used other coordinating products in this suite including the Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP, the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements and the 1/2” Classic Weave Ribbon. I just love the colors in this suite, especially with copper foil accents. They are a little more non-traditional but so elegant at the same time.
I may have mentioned before how much I LOVE stamp sets that have coordinating punches. So easy to use, especially if you are cranking out a whole bunch of holiday cards. The stamp set and punches can be purchased separately, or you can get them together in the Christmas Gleaming Bundle and save an extra 10%.

This style of card is called a Gate Fold and it is really easy to make, yet still has that wow factor. The “belly band” simply slides on and off which makes it a little more interactive, which I think is really fun. Measurements for this card are listed below along with the full supply list.
With all of those copper accents in the DSP and ribbon, I decided to heat emboss the ornaments and sentiment is Copper Embossing Powder. Metallic embossing powder is so beautiful and the added texture and shine really step up the stamping quite a bit.
Once I added the ornaments and the sentiment to the oval, I popped a single little pearl on one of the ornaments to dress it up. Still, I felt like it needed just “one more thing” (famous last words in crafting) and finally decided on the little leaf accent from the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements. I trimmed the leafy accent down so it wasn’t too much and I like how it just filled the space a bit.
