November 2020 - Kylie’s Demonstrator Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for November! We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all over the world sharing our love of stamping. We are all part of Bruno and Kylie Bertucci’s training group where we are having a great time learning and growing our Stampin’ Up!® businesses. If this is the first time you are visiting my blog, welcome! My name is Anne Marie Hile and I live in the United States. I’m so glad you stopped by today!

You may be starting here or have arrived from another blog - either way, you can find the link list of all of the participants at the bottom of this post. Happy Hopping!
Our theme for this blog hop is “Thank You”, specifically the thank you cards we are making to share with our customers this month.

Did you know that Stampin;’ Up!® offers lots of different kits to make card making and paper crafting even easier? They also offer something called a Product Medley, which includes stamps, papers, dies and accessories. Just add some ink and cardstock and you can create SO many beautiful projects.
The Boho Indigo Product Medley is one of my favorites! I just love those soft blue hues and the mix of patterns and textures in this kit are fantastic. Once you buy the Product Medley, there is also a Refill Kit available so you can get even more of the paper, die cuts and embellishments to use with the stamps and dies. I love that!

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below, along with a full supply list at the very end of this post.
Color Combo:
When I sit down to make my customer thank you cards for the month, I always make multiples. What I love about using this Product Medley is the extra detail that is already added to the pre-printed leaves and sentiment tags. It’s gorgeous and guess what? No additional coloring is needed! Yay! I think we all can appreciate those little time savers, especially when you are making a whole bunch of cards at once. :)

There are 2 rolls of beautiful ribbon in the Product Medley, however I opted to use the Misty Moonlight 1/4” Ribbon because I felt like it just worked a little better with the card design. I also popped in a trio of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to accent the images.
Card Measurements and Details:
  • Misty Moonlight Card Base: 4 1/4” x 11”, scored at 5 1/2”
  • Garden Green Cardstock: 4” x 5 1/4”
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock: 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”, embossed using the polka dot pattern from the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders
  • Boho Indigo Designer Series Paper: 1 3/8” x 5 1/8”, spritz with a mixture of Champagne mist Shimmer Paint and rubbing alcohol (70% or less) in a Stampin’ Spritzer for added sparkly detail
  • Misty Moonlight Cardstock: scrap to stamp/die cut one large vase and die cut two of the smaller vases with the polka dot detail
  • Gold Foil Sheets: scraps to add to accent the vases and also to die cut the leafy branch to add to the smaller vase
  • Die cuts from Boho Indigo Product Medley: green leaves with gold foil accents and the sentiment tag with the god foil accents
  • Misty Moonlight In Color Ribbon and Gold Glitter Enamel Dots
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5 1/4”
  • Boho Indigo Designer Series Paper (inside card): 1” x 5 1/4"
Finally, a look at the inside of the card. I simply added a strip of the DSP along with a stamped vase to add a little extra detail. I left the rest blank to write out a handwritten thank you note.
