Hello everyone! Yesterday, I did a Facebook Live video sharing a card using a sneak peek of the new Art Gallery Bundle, which will be available on January 5th in the Stampin’ Up!® January-June Mini Catalog.
Please join me over on on my *Stampin’ Anne Facebook Page*, where do Live videos sharing some fun Stampin’ Up!® projects. My set time for Facebook Live is Friday at 4:00pm CST, however I have been trying to pop on more often. Be sure to “Like” and “Follow” my Facebook Page so you get the notifications. If you can’t make it Live, you can always watch the replay. Also, I’d like to invite you to join my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Group for more updates, promotions, upcoming classes and exclusive projects. Everyone is welcome!

When I get new products, I like to use the project samples in the catalog as a starting point for creative inspiration. There are SO many awesome ideas in the catalog and it’s a fun way to dig into those new products and start using them.
This card is a CASE of a card featured in the new Mini Catalog. So, what does CASE-ing mean? I’ve heard it described two different ways: “Copy-and-Share-Everything” or “Copy-and-Selectively-Edit”. Personaly, I like the second term a little better, because I usually find that I never truly CASE a card EXACTLY. I did add a few more layers and some extra details to it because that’s how I roll. Haha! I did stick with the gorgeous color combo featured in the catalog, which completely made me fall in love with purple. I’ve never really been a “purple fan”, but this card changed that for sure. Now, I’m Team Purple ALL the way!
Card Measurements and Details:
- Gorgeous Grape Card Base: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
- Whisper White Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
- Purple Posy Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, sponge Highland Heather ink over polka dot Decorative Mask using Sponge Dauber and emboss using Subtle 3D Embossing Folder
- Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper: 1-1/2” x 5-1/8”
- Whisper White Cardstock: scraps for stamping and die cutting (sentiment stamped in Gorgeous Grape Ink, 3 sets of flowers in Highland Heather / Gorgeous Grape Ink and three sets of leaves in Granny Apple Green Ink)
- Purple Tri-Color Ribbon and Rhinestone Basic Jewels
- Whisper White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”
- Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper (inside card): 3/4” x 5-1/4”
Finally, a peek inside the card. I simply added another strip of the Designer Series Paper and a stamped flower. Initially, I was going to add a stamped birthday sentiment, but decided to just leave it blank for a handwritten note.
