Snailed It for PP525

Happy Sunday!
Time for a new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, Joanne is hosting our monthly Sketch Challenge
Sketch Challenges are my FAVORITE! As soon as I saw Joanne’s sketch, I knew it would be great to showcase different patterns of Designer Series Paper. I’ve set a goal for myself this year to USE more DSP, instead of just “collecting” it in my stamp studio. Those pretty patterns need to be shared and enjoyed! You can always buy more, right?

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.
Color Combo:
I’m absolutely smitten with the Snailed It stamp set and coordinating Snail Dies right now. I especially love that the dies cut out images from the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper. Talk about making it easy! I added a couple of little embellishments and the card came together pretty easily. That little snail is SO cute, isn’t he? Eek!
Card Measurements and Details:
  • Real Red Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Snail Mail Designer Series Paper (Bermuda Bay pattern): 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • Snail Mail Designer Series Paper (mail and package pattern): 2-1/2” x 4-1/4”
  • Real Red Cardstock: die cut 1-7/8” circle from Stitched Circles Dies
  • Snail Mail Designer Series Paper: die cut snail image using Snail Dies, accent the snail’s shell with Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
  • Basic White Cardstock: 1-3/4” x 1/2”, stamp sentiment in Real Red ink and snip off right end at an angle
  • Resin Hearts Embellishments and Red Rhinestones
  • Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Snail Mail Designer Series Paper (inside card): 4” x 3/4”
Finally a peek inside the card. I added a little strip of the letter / package pattern of DSP and a trio of stamped hearts colored with Stampin’ Blends. It’s all set for a handwritten note for a friend.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our Sketch Challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday January 29th, 2021

  7. Another great card using this fun snail set and paper! Your goal is very similar to mine once I reorganize and package every stamp and die cut I own. Yes, you heard me right. That is what I decided to do last week. What was I thinking? You are making it really hard to resist adding more paper to my stash. Have a great week!

  9. This is one of my favourite suites in the catalogue Anne Marie and as a fellow DSP lover, I might CASE your card to use up more of mine too! I almost went with this set for my card, but was so inspired by your previous berry cards I went down that route instead! Great job this week!
