Flowering Cactus for PP534

Happy Sunday!
Time for a new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, I am super excited to be hosting our monthly Sketch Challenge.
If you have ever visited me before, you probably know these two things: I LOVE Sketch Challenges and lots of layers on my cards! I hope you enjoy my sketch this week and take it for a spin yourself.

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.
For my card, I decided to use the Flowering Cactus Product Medley because I finally inked it up this past week and can’t seem to stop using it!  It was perfect to create a birthday card for a sweet friend.

Color Combo:
A Product Medley is an easy way to order a coordinating product suite all together with one product number. I love that everything in the suite comes boxed together and with the addition of some cardstock, ink and a couple of other tools / embellishments, you can create lots of pretty projects! This kit will be available *while supplies last* through May 3rd, 2021.

The Flowering Cactus Product Medley includes these exclusive products:
  • 15-piece Flowering Cactus Photopolymer Stamp Set
  • 48 sheets of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper: 8 each of 6 double-sided designs
  • Die-cut felt sheets: 4 each of 2 colors
  • Linen thread combo pack: 10 yards each in natural and Calypso Coral colors
  • 10-piece Flowering Cactus Dies (use with Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; compatible with the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine)
There is also a refill kit available with more of the consumable items (DSP, linen thread and felt flowers) and you can find more information on that by clicking HERE

Finally a peek inside the card! I added in another strip of that pretty patterned paper, a birthday sentiment and a stamped cactus to "keep the party going”  from the front of the card. I really love how this card came together and I hope you do as well.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our Sketch Challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday April 2nd, 2021

  12. Anne Marie, I absolutely love your use of color. Calypso is one of my least favorite colors, but you made me love it. The dark green base is perfect to anchor this wonderful scene and the white space around your focal elements lets them shine. Fabulous!
