Sweet Ice Cream for PP586

Happy Sunday, friends!
Time for a fun new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, I am super-excited to be your host for our Color Challenge.
When I was deciding on a color combo for this challenge, I knew two things: it was going to contain Polished Pink and I wanted it to be bright and cheery. If you have ever visited me before you will know that I love all things pink! I know some people aren’t a fan of that color and to those people I say…you are wrong. Haha! I’m totally kidding! Anyhoo, I finally decided on this Polished Pink - Coastal Cabana - Daffodil Delight trio but added in the option of a neutral for a little more flexibility. What do you think about these colors together? They are just so springy (it’s a word…right?) and FUN! I hope you will join us and play along this week. I can’t wait to see what you create with these colors! :)

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.
For my card, I was all set to create a floral card, I had it all planned out…then as I went to snag the stamps off my shelf, the soon-to-be-retired Sweet Ice Cream stamp set caught my eye. So, that’s how this triple scoop of cuteness came together! You can never have too many birthday cards on hand, right? This is just so fun and cheerful, I know it will bring a smile to the recipient's face. My neutral color is Cinnamon Cider for the ice cream cone.

There are a few items on this card that are retiring soon and are only available “while supplies last”: the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set, Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, 2021-2023 In Color Jewels and 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper. You can shop all of the Last Chance Products HERE.

Finally, here is a peek inside the card! I stamped a coordinating sentiment from the set, popped in a strip of DSP and stamped/punched one more ice cream cone to “keep the party going” from the front of the card. Is anyone else craving ice cream right now? I know I sure am!

  7. I loved playing with these bright colors, thanks for the challenge! When Polished Pink was first introduced, I thought we didn't need another pink, but I absolutely adore it! TBH I'd be happy if they replaced Flirty Flamingo with Polished Pink, Flamingo has an orange undertone that makes it more difficult to work with for me. Your ice cream scoops look totally yummy in these colors!
