He’s the Man for PP615

Happy Sunday, friends!
Time for a fun new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, I am your host for our Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.
Row Selected: Metallic - Masculine - Orange and/or Yellow
Additional Squares Selected: Die-cut - Embellishments - Birthday

Since it’s the 5th week of the month, it’s time for a “Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge”! I had fun coming up with this board because there are lots of different options to inspire your creativity. I ALWAYS need more masculine cards, so I knew that was going to be my starting point. Which row would you pick? Join us over at The Paper Players and share what you make!

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.
Color Combo:
My card uses products from the He’s the Man Suite from the Stampin’ Up® Annual Catalog. Here’s a fun fact, there is NO stamping on the front of the card! The He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper made it easy with the preprinted, die-cut elements. Paired with the awesome masculine patterns and colors in the DSP, it makes it easy to whip up masculine cards in a flash. This paper even makes me a fan of Crushed Curry which, if you have ever visited me before, is a color that I don’t tend to gravitate toward. The coordinating He’s All That stamp set and All That Dies coordinate wonderfully as well. This has become my new go-to for guy cards!
Card Measurements & Details:
  • Early Espresso Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Crushed Curry Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper: die cut pre-printed notebook paper, edges sponged with Crumb Cake & Soft Suede ink
  • He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper: die cut pre-printed label
  • He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (striped pattern): 2” x 4-1/4"
  • Crushed Curry Cardstock: die cut two banners from All That Dies
  • Baker’s Twine Essentials (Crumb Cake) and Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots
  • Basic White (card interior): 4” x 5-1/4”, stamp sentiment in Early Espresso ink and buttons in Crushed Curry ink
  • He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (card interior): 3/4” x 5-1/4”
Finally, here is a peek inside the card! I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set along with a few Crushed Curry buttons from the He’s All That stamp set to bring in some color.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our Tic-Tac-Toe ChallengeWe’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday November 4th, 2022

  6. Great masculine card, Anne Marie! I like how the little border of Crushed Curry brightens up the whole card. I, for one, love Crushed Curry and use it a lot for fall cards and on my scrapbook pages ; ) but there are colors that everyone else seems to love and I just can't figure out what to do with them. Thanks for a fun tic-tac-toe challenge!
