Our theme for this month is: Sale-A-Bration!
Sale-A-Bration is my favorite time of the Stampin’ Up!® year! It’s a great time to get “more bang for your buck” while you earn FREE crafty products with a qualifying order. Our blog hop is happening just a few days before Sale-A-Bration officially kicks off, so I hope you enjoy some sneak peeks of the awesome products that can be earned for free starting January 5th!

Color Combo:
My card features two of my favorite products in the Sale-A-Bration offering this year. The Adorable Owls stamp set is soooo stinking cute! It is a great set to use with Stampin’ Blends or another coloring medium. Those little wide-eyed owls will surely bring a smile to everyone’s face, don’t you think? This set will be FREE with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration.
I also used the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper which is an awesome MEGA pack of paper in fun colors and prints that can be earned for FREE with a $100 order during Sale-A-Bration. 48 sheets of 12” x 12” paper…4 each in 12 double-sided designs. This is probably one of my favorite products in the SAB catalog! You can make SO many projects with this paper pack!
I decided to create a fun card with some masculine colors, because I ALWAYS need masculine cards for some reason. The stamped owl was easy to color and fussy-cut and I just love the patterns in the DSP. The green in the DSP wasn’t quite Shaded Spruce, nor was it Granny Apple Green. I thought Shaded Spruce mixed better with the tones in the green even if it isn’t an exact match.
Card Measurements & Details:
- Balmy Blue Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2"
- Shaded Spruce Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, emboss with Gingham Embossing Folder
- Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper (Sale-A-Bration Exclusive): (2) pieces, 2” x 4-1/2” each
- Basic White Cardstock: scrap to die-cut the second largest circle in the Stylish Shapes Dies, add some Balmy Blue ink to background with a Blending Brush
- Basic White Cardstock: scrap to stamp owl image, color with Stampin’ Blends and fussy-cut
- Basic White Cardstock: 2” x 1/2”, stamp sentiment in Memento ink, banner punch right side with Banners Pick A Punch
- White Baker’s Twine and Classic Matte Dots
- Basic White Cardstock (card interior): 4” x 5-1/4”, stamp sentiment and owl image in Memento ink, color owl with Stampin’ Blends
- Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper (card interior): 4” x 1/2”
Finally, a peek inside the card. I added another piece of the plaid paper along with another stamped owl / sentiment from the set. These little owls make me smile. You can never go wrong with an owl with a fun birthday hat or bow tie, am I right?
