February 2023 - Stamping Sunday Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends! Today, I’m super-excited to share the February 2023 Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This hop is hosted by Sara Levin and we share on the second Sunday of every month. 

Our theme for the month is “Nature or Nurture” where we are each sharing projects for anyone in your life who nurtures/mentors OR just loves nature. There are always beautiful projects from the team sure to inspire your creativity. Welcome, I’m so happy you are here today! 

For my project, I decided to create with the gorgeous Irresistible Blooms Bundle. This product will be part of a new Online Exclusives offering from Stampin’ Up!® starting March 1st, 2023. As a Demonstrator, I was able to preorder the product early and it just arrived to me last week. I couldn’t wait to start creating with it!

I am a big fan of fun fonts and sweet sentiments. This set has both! One of the goals I have set for myself this year is to send out more cards to friends just to tell them how awesome they are. No real reason, just some happy mail to make them smile. We are all so busy and just taking the time to let someone know they are special is…well, pretty special, right? 

This card has very minimal stamping but still packs a “wow”. The flowers were cut from the DSP with the dies. You just can’t get easier than that! All of that beautiful detail already done and done. It’s a little tough to see in the photos but this card has some really fun shimmer and texture thanks to the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and Textured Shimmer Paper (available now!).

• Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper (coming 3/1): die cut flowers from the paper with coordinating Irresistible Blooms Dies and accent flowers with Wink of Stella
• Vellum Cardstock: die cut (5) leaves of different sizes with Irresistible Blooms Dies
• Basic White Cardstock: scrap to stamp sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink and die-cut with banner rom Stylish Shapes Dies
• Loose Frosted Dots (coming 3/1) and White Baker’s Twine
• Basic White Cardstock (card interior): 4” x 5-1/4”, stamp sentiment in Flirty Flamingo and floral image in Petal Pink
• Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper (card interior): 3/4” x 5-1/4"

Here is a look inside the card! I simply added another strip of that gorgeous DSP along with a stamped sentiment and floral image. The sentiment just makes me smile. Who wouldn’t love receiving this card in the mail? Instant day brightener, right?
