Positive Inkers Blog Hop - February 2023

Hello Stamping Friends! I’m thrilled to join the Positive Inkers Design Team for our February 2023 Blog Hop.

We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the globe who are super-excited to share our love of creativity. I’m so happy you stopped by today!

If this is the fist time you are visiting, please let me introduce myself. My name is Anne Marie Hile and I live in San Antonio, Texas. Welcome!
Our theme for this month is: Use 2 Products from the Stampin’ Up!® Mini Catalog!

How do you pick TWO favorites from the Mini Catalog? This one was hard for me, but then I realized that my two products can come from the same suite! The Petal Park Bundle and Sentimental Park Bundle are made to work together. How can you resist a fun floral set along with a very versatile sentiment set?

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my projects below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this po
Color Combo:
I decided to make a fun gate-fold card for a little something different with my card. This fun-fold is really easy and is held closed by a simple belly-band. I love how the larger layers pair up together in the Sentimental Park Bundle to create the sentiment label. The die-cut flowers are such a pretty accent, too. I have been staring at the Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon for a while now wondering how I was going to use it and it just worked with this project
Card Measurements & Details:
  • Shaded Spruce Card Base: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, score at 2-1/8”, then flip and score at 2-1/8” again to create the Gate Fold Card base
  • Mango Melody Cardstock: (2) 1-7/8” x 5-1/4”
  • Regency Park Designer Series Paper: (2) 1-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • Shaded Spruce Cardstock: 9-1/2” x 1-1/4”, score once on long side at 2-1/2”, wrap around card and seal in front
  • Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Petal Pink & Textured Shimmer Paper for die-cutting
  • Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots and Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon
  • Mango Melody Cardstock (card interior): 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
  • Basic White Cardstock (card interior): 4” x 5”
  • Regency Park Designer Series Paper: 4” x 1/2”

Finally, a peek inside the card. I added some more of the DSP along with additional floral accents. This is just a fun card to send to a friend to brighten their day!

I hope you enjoyed my card today!  Please stop by to visit everyone on the hop and leave us a comment to say hello. We’d all love to hear from you and so appreciate you stopping by. If you are following the hop, my sweet friend Jo Blackman in the UK is your next destination.

We are also doing an Instagram hop today and I’d love to have you check it out. If you aren’t already following me on Instagram, you can find me HERE

  1. Cute card. Those colors together amaze me. Not something I would gravitate too but they work...DSP is so helpful and fun for color coordinating! I need to try this funfold. Thanks for sharing!
