Hello Stamping Friends! I’m thrilled to join the fabulous Positive Inkers Design Team for our May 2023 Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the globe who are super-excited to share our love of creativity. I’m so happy you stopped by today!
If this is the fist time you are visiting, please let me introduce myself. My name is Anne Marie Hile and I live in San Antonio, Texas. Welcome!
Our theme for this month is: New Annual Catalog Products!
The new Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog launches on May 2nd and let me tell you, there is a LOT to love. As a Demonstrator, we were able to preorder a select group of products early in April. I ordered a *cough, cough* few things and the Cheerful Daisies stamp and die bundle is one that I seem to be reaching for a lot. So, that’s what I went with for our hop this month!
*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my projects below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.
I completely forgot to order Lemon Lolly on my initial preorder, so it just arrived last Friday. This is probably one of my favorite shades of yellow EVER! Sooo soft and subtle! I decided that i wanted to pair it up with a softer color combo and went with a beautiful returning color (Lost Lagoon) and my favorite neutral (Crumb Cake). I really like how this card came together and I hope you do as well.
Card Measurements & Details:
- Lost Lagoon Card Base: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
- Crumb Cake Cardstock: 5-1/4” x 4”
- Lemon Lolly Cardstock: 5-1/8” x 3-7/8”, emboss with Basics 3D Embossing folder
- Basic White Cardstock: die-cut rectangle from Radiating Stitches Dies
- Basic White Cardstock: scraps to stamp and die-cut daisy images, accent with Wink of Stella
- Lost Lagoon Cardstock: scrap to die-cut (3) sprigs from Cheerful Daisies Dies
- Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems and Linen Thread
- Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/4” x 4”, stamp stem and sentiment in Crumb Cake ink (flower was extra, stamped in Lost Lolly and Crumb Cake
Finally, a peek inside the card. I die-cut an extra daisy and didn’t want to to go to waste, so I simply stamped a stem and made it work. Of course, I added more Wink of Stella for sparkly detail.
I hope you enjoyed my projects today and that you are inspired to create with YOUR favorite products from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog! Please stop by to visit everyone on the hop and leave us a comment to say hello. We’d all love to hear from you and so appreciate you stopping by. If you are following the hop, my sweet friend Jo Blackman in the UK is your next destination.
We are also doing an Instagram hop today and I’d love to have you check it out. If you aren’t already following me on Instagram, you can find me HERE.
