Label Love for Paper Players #186

 Hello stamping friends! Hope you are having a great day so far! This week at the Paper Players, I am the challenge hostess. Right before the Academy Awards, I saw the photo (in the challenge badge) on the Anthropologie page on Instagram and fell in LOVE with the color combo. I thought it would make for a fun challenge. I hope you think so, too.

I was going to go with an entirely different theme for my card but something just kept making me want to create a baby card with these colors. So, I went with it. I have also been trying to ink up stamps that I have been neglecting in my stamp studio. There are quite a few. I bought Label Love awhile ago and have only inked it up once. The layout is pretty simple but I still got a lot of layers on the card, which always makes me happy.

Here are the items I used:

• The DSP is retired and the star die cut is non-SU!

New Catalog Sneak Peek: Wildflower Meadow

Hello there! On Thursday I received a really COOL box of Stampin' Up! goodies delivered by that "man in brown". I LOVE this time of year and it is almost here...the NEW SU catty! Eeek! I got my pre-order and let me tell you, I am beyond excited for these new items.

No surprise that the first of the new colors that I unwrapped the card stock and ink pad for was Strawberry Slush. Ha! I paired it up with Coastal Cabana and put this card together. The stamp set is called Wildflower Meadow and it has a matching embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Label Love stamp set. This set has a co-ordinating punch. I created some Coastal Cabana ribbon by using the Coastal Cabana re-inker to dye the 5/8" Whisper White Organza ribbon.
