SO perfect for Spring, eh? Although here in south Texas our temps have been in the mid-90's for a few weeks now. So, I decided to play with some fun, summer colors for this one. I was pretty excited to break out the new Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango Embossing Powders from the Summer Mini Catalog. Pretty much, ANYTHING in Melon Mambo is a must-have for me. :) I love that color!!
I used the One of a Kind stamp set for my Mother's Day bouquet. As I was typing this up, I realized that the set is actually retired. I was completely convinced this set was still current...whoops! I made the "vase" by using the ornament punch, snipping off the point at the bottom of the "ornament". I know this isn't a new technique, but I still think it's really fun. Finally, I added some bling to finish things off! Let's face it, everything is better when it sparkles!
As always, I decorated the inside of the card, with the extra scraps from the front:Thanks for stopping by today. Please leave me a comment to say hello before you leave. I can't wait to stop by and visit everyone to see what y'all have been up to over the past week, too. I hope you will play along with us at The Paper Players with our "Birds, Bees, Flowers and Trees" theme. The deadline to link up is Friday, May 6th at midnight. Have a very HAPPY day! :)
