Christmas in July for Paper Players # 102

Hello there! This week at the Paper Players, we are focusing on a fun theme challenge. The lovely and talented Ann Schach is our hostess this week and she has come up with something fun. Fa-la-la-la-la, it's "Christmas in July"!

After setting up some holiday music on my iPod, I snagged the new Be of Good Cheer DSP and the Stitched Stockings (ret.) stamp set for my card. Isn't that paper fun? Even though I'm not a huge fan of the red and green color combo for Christmas cards, those patterns make it hard to resist. 

I used the sketch over at the Merry Monday Challenge for inspiration and I'm also going to share my card over at a new fun challenge blog I recently discovered, 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown. Check it out! :) 

I drsssed up my little stocking with some gittery accents. It's really easy to make your own glitter paper in a flash! Simply take a VersaMark ink pad, drag it all over a piece of card stock, sprinkle some Iridescent Ice Enbossing Powder on the inked up card stock and heat emboss with a heat gun. Instant sparkles! I finished off the stylin' stockings with some baker's twine and a bitty jingle bell. The complete supply list can be found at the end of the post.
