Hello there and welcome to another week at the Paper Players. This week, the absolutely awesome Ann Schach is our hostess with a fun sketch to try out. This week, I received some new items from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Catalog and was super excited to use them.
I used the Quartrefancy Specialty DSP from the new catty along with the new Banner Greetings *hostess* set. Aren't the colors in this paper fabulous? Strawberry Slush is my new favorite color! Best. Pink. EVER! :) I have a feeling I will be using this color way more then I should. What birthday recipient doesn't deserve a cupcake? I dressed up the punched image with Dazzling Details glitter glue and a big button. I love those metal buttons from the Spring catalog, but rarely seem to use them. All of the supplies I used are listed below.
Please join us this week over at the Paper Players! The challenge is open through Friday, May 3rd at NOON (PDT). Check out what the rest of the Design Team have whipped up with this week's sketch challenge:

Anne Marie that's one cheery cupcake! Love the touch of the button and bling. I can't wait to get my sneak peak box! hugs.
ReplyDeleteSuch a burst of colorful goodieness, Anne Marie!! You didn't get better goodieness than a cupcake brings! Also, excellent job showcasing the new products!!
ReplyDeleteSo bright and fun! The colors in DSP are great! Fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty....I haven't even ordered anything yet! I have finally stopped sneezing long enough to move stuff back into my craft room so TOMORROW I will be ordering some of this yummy stuff! I think that Strawberry Slush is gorgeous, too!
ReplyDeleteOh, my! These colors and dsp are so fresh and fun. I had to laugh when I saw you used the cupcake set for this sketch, as that is what I first used. Mine ended up in the trash as I couldn't get it to work -- just as well, as yours is perfect! I love the way you've used the rhinestones on the frame, and your mix of papers is fantastic. Great card!
ReplyDeleteGreat paper, Anne Marie! I love the colors...so bright and cheery. Of course, your signature bling is perfect!
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie, Your card is so colorful and vibrant! Who wouldn't be overjoyed to receive this card on their special day? And those silver buttons can't be beat.
ReplyDeleteFabulous job highlighting the new paper and colors--so gorgeous together. This is such a perfect Anne-Marie card--you've inspired me to use the new stuff as soon as it arrives!!
ReplyDeleteI love your colorful card!! I think I *need* that paper too. I have a feeling it might make it's way onto my sneak peek order :-)
