A Good Day Note Card Set for PP408

It’s Sunday and time for another fun challenge over at The Paper Players! This week Joanne has an awesome theme for us: Lunchbox Love Notes. I have to admit, at first I was kind of stumped by this one. I don’t have kiddos so I wasn’t sure where to go with this challenge. But Joanne brought up a great point…you can create these little cards for ANYONE. Your kids, spouse, partner, friend, neighbor, favorite barista at Starbucks, UPS driver. You know, the people you see every day. A “love note” can be just as simple as a little hello or a thank you…or a wish for a great day. We ALL need that!

I decided to do an assortment of note cards featuring the A Good Day stamp set and the 2017-2019 In Colors. I couldn’t decide how many cards to make, so limiting it to 5 sounded good. My thought was that these would be great cards to have on hand and could also be great to make as a gift for someone else to share the love. Just little reminders to brighten someone’s day. I love that!
I thought this would be a great opportunity to create my cards using the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes.
The cards are a great size for little notes (5" x 4-1/2”, scored at 2-1/2”)  and have adorable matching envelopes.
I always make sure I have them on hand. I’ve listed all of the supplies I used to make these cards at the end of this post.
I think my favorite card in this set was the little bunny card. Powder Pink, cute bunny image and lots of shimmer and sparkle. Yes, please! The little ice cream card has a lot of fun detail as well. It’s tough to see in the photo but there is glittery Wink of Stella on the ice cream scoop.
This card is my second favorite! Lemon Lime Twist is such an awesome color. Again, there are some Wink of Stella details that are tough to see in the photos. I think this would be a fun card to tuck away for someone to find in the morning as a great reminder to make today amazing!
We all need a positive vibe to start our day, right?
For the last 2 cards, I toned down the sparkle because that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. (I did use little bits of Wink of Stella on the thank you card though. Shhhh!) These cards are little but have little pops of detail that make them fun, like the embossed backgrounds and the tiny pop of patterned paper. They are quick and easy to create, too!
I sure hope you will join us over at The Paper Players this week. The sketch challenge is open until Friday September 7th, 2018 at 12:00 Noon PST.

Please check out the projects from the team and share some love with them:

Thanks for stopping by today! Please leave a comment to say hello so I know you were here.
    Have a HAPPY day today!

    3. SO pretty. This set of In-Colours is my favourite so I love these! I used In-Colours for the same reason - 5 is a good number. I like the details you've added to each, yet using a stripe in each, a circular central image and a bow keeps them together as a set. I like your idea of giving them to other people in our daily lives - a little act of kindness. Lovely cards, Anne Marie.
