For my project, I decided to pair together the sentiment from the Part of My Story (Sale-A-Bration) stamp set, the new Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper from a bundle in the new Sale-A-Bration release and the Best Bunny Bundle which is found in the Annual Catalog.
The Painted Seasons Bundle has quickly become one of my favorites. The bundle consists of a beautiful stamp set and this fabulous coordinating Designer Series Paper. It can be earned for free with your $100 order. I wanted to do something a little different with my project and not use the bundle together but rather combine a few different stamps to think "outside of the box" a bit.
Isn’t that little bunny adorable? I just love that there is a coordinating punch as well. It makes it so easy to cut him out, pop him up on dimensionals and give him some personality. I love it! This little guy is pretty easy to color with the Stampin’ Blends and although I used colors that aren’t technically in the DSP, all of the shades work together. The “pieces" of the bunny are popped up on dimensionals and I also used the grass stamp behind the bunny to give him something to “sit” on.
There are a lot of different textures on this card, but I think it all works with the “woodsy” theme. This one is definitely not a card that can be mailed with one stamp though. It’s a little on the chunky side. It will just have to go to someone extra-special. That stitched scalloped border is from the Be Mine Stitched Heart Framelits and I have been finding that I have been using it a LOT lately. I just love the little detail it adds.
It’s a little hard to see in the photo but I heat embossed the sentiment by stamping the sentiment first in Versamark ink, then in my Early Espresso ink pad and used Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder. It just adds a little bit of extra shiny detail. I also used my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add a pop of sparkle to the inside of the bunny’s ears. I left the inside of the card blank to add a handwritten message. I’ve listed all of the products I used to create the card below.
