Hello and Happy Sunday! It’s time for another fun challenge over at The Paper Players. This week, Laurie is hosting our Clean-and-Simple (CAS) Challenge with the theme of: PLANTS. I hope you will join us and share your crafty creation. Click the link above to find out more about the challenge and the link to enter your project.
For my card, I decided to use a Hostess Set from the Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog called Seasoned with Kindness. This set has some adorable little images and fit perfectly with the theme this week.
What does a “hostess set” mean? This is a stamp set that can only be purchased using Host Rewards, either with a minimum $150 order or by hosting an event or a private class with sales at or above that amount. If you’d like to host a card making class with your friends, please reach out to me. I’d love to plan a fun afternoon or evening of stamping with you.
Today’s Colors:
I used three of the Rectangle Stitched Dies for the stamped images. I stamped the images directly on the cardstock using Garden Green and Granny Apple Green ink. Then, I stamped the “container” images in Basic Gray ink on Smoky Slate cardstock. After cutting the containers out from the cardstock, I added a little Linen Thread detail around the top and popped the up on Stampin’ Dimensionals for a little more detail. On the center image, I added a little tag stamped in Calypso Coral ink. I just love how tiny and cute that tag is, don’t you?
Card Measurements:
- Garden Green Card Base - 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
- Whisper White Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4”
- Brights DSP - 1/1/4” x 5-1/4”
- Garden Green Cardstock - 1-3/8” x 5-1/4”
- Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 4” x 5-1/4”
Finally, here is a peek inside the card. I just love that sweet sentiment, so perfect for a thank you card.
I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share a project using this beautiful color combo. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday May 24th, 2019.
