Every Wednesday at 12:00 PM CST, I share a new project tutorial over on my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Page. Please join me and if you can’t make it Live, you can always watch the replay. Also, I’d like to invite you to join my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Group for giveaways and exclusive projects. Everyone is welcome!
The first project I made was this fun Halloween Gate Fold Card. I just love those spooky little houses from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. The gate fold opens up to a cute little message from that not-so-scary vampire. So cute! Gate Fold Card Measurements:
- Basic Black Card Base - 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”
- On 8-1/2” side, score at 2-1/8” and 6-3/8”
- Crushed Curry Cardstock - 2” x 5-3/8” (2 pieces)
- Monster Bash Designer Series Paper - 1-7/8” x 5-1/4” (2 pieces) **In the video I gave incorrect measurements for these pieces, I apologize.**
- Basic Black Cardstock (for “belly band”) - 1-1/2” x 9”
- For the “Belly Band”, you can score at 2-3/8” and 6-3/4” OR just fold it around the card to get a more snug fit. The “seam” where the two ends of the cardstock meet up is in the middle of the front of the card. There is a little overlap to adhere the ends together. The seam will be covered up with the layered die cuts.
- Scraps of Black Foil, Basic Black, Whisper White and Crushed Curry for stamped and die cut pieces
- Whisper White (inside card) - 4” x 5-1/4”
The second project I shared was this fun little treat holder that holds Orbit Gum. The design of the box is from Ronda Wade, another fabulous Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator. Her box was considerably smaller and didn’t fit this particular pack of gum, so I just reconfigured the measurements a bit to make it work.
I’ve made this box larger and smaller to fit different treats because I love how easily it comes together. (Thanks Ronda!) The front flap tucks behind the die cut circle and ribbon to hold it closed. Just make sure when you adhere the die cut circle to the front of the box, you only add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the bottom of the circle to allow for tucking the flap.
Treat Box Measurements:
- Basic Black Cardstock - 4-3/4” x 6”
- On the 4-3/4” side, score at 1/2” and 4-1/4”
- On the 6” side, score at 2”, 2-1/2”, 4-1/2” and 5”
- Use the photo below as a guide to show where to trim the pieces on the box
I also embossed the box using the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder for some added texture. I had to laugh at the “Open if You Dare” sentiment though. Surprise, it’s NOT chocolate! Haha! Although, not everyone enjoys sweet treats, so this is a great option with fewer calories!
Finally, here is another card I shared with the Spooktacular Bash Bundle! I didn’t put this card together in the video, however it uses some of the same elements from the 2 other projects and comes together really easily. I used the Basic Black 3/8” Scalloped Ribbon for some added texture and colored a trio of rhinestones with the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends Marker. I also added some Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the Ornate Frame die and also to Dracula’s little cape.
- Basic Black Card Base - 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
- Pumpkin Pie Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4”
- Crumb Cake Cardstock (embossed with Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder) - 3-3/4” x 5”
- Monster Bash Designer Series Paper - 3-1/2” x 2-1/2”
- Scraps of Basic Black, Whisper White and Pumpkin Pie Cardstock for stamped and die cut images
