This week, Jaydee is hosting our monthly Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.
Check it out and play along with us!
I love a good Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! It’s so fun to use the options to inspire your creativity. For my card, I decided to use the row right down the center as my inspiration: Girly - Die-Cut - Friendship. There are SO many different options with this week’s challenge, which row will YOU choose?
For my card, I decided to use the Free as a Bird stamp set because it has beautiful images and the sentiments are great for a card to send to a dear friend. I also really like this stamp set because it is so perfect to color with Stampin’ Blends markers.
The stamp set also perfectly pairs with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, which are very versatile and one of my favorite die sets. I’ve listed all of the measurements for this card below and there is also a supply list at the end of the post.
Here’s a little story and I hope it gives you a chuckle. Do you see those fun details tied in the Linen Thread bow? That leaf and key come from the Bird Ballad Trinkets! I love these little accents but believe it or not, this is the first time I have used them. I think I just forgot about them in the drawers of my stamp studio. Sadly, they will be retiring in just a couple days, so I better get busy using them, right? They really make for a fun accent on a card, so if you love them as well, get them while you can. Just make sure not to lose them in your craft room. Haha!

I couldn't wait to comment on this card, I love it so much! I am so happy this set did not retire! I love how you colored the birds, and the little accents are delightful. Yes, I have a whole bunch of stuff I "forget" about in my craft drawers too!
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is layered in sweetness Anne Marie! I love those little berry branches tucked in and the gingham peeking out!
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie, like LeAnne, i LOVE this card. The soft colors with all of that wonderful white space makes me so happy and really showcases how beautiful that focal image is. Your "found" trinkets are the perfect finishing touch. GORGEOUS card, my friend. Thanks for rocking the grid this week
