This week, Joanne is hosting our Sketch Challenge.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I LOVE a good sketch challenge! Joanne’s awesome sketch really makes my layer-loving heart happy. At first I was a little unsure about what products I was going to use to bring the sketch to life. Then I looked over to a table in my stamp studio and saw something new that just arrived in a recent order - the Boho Indigo Product Medley. I opened it up and it quickly became the inspiration for my card.
*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below, along with a full supply list at the very end of this post.
The Boho Indigo Product Medley comes with just about everything you need to create and is SO beautiful. Just add ink, a paper trimmer and a die cutting machine and you are ready to go. Here is everything included:
- 11-piece photopolymer stamp set
- 48 sheets of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, 8 each of 6 double-sided designs
- Very Vanilla 6" x 6" dry embossed sheets, 2 each of 3 designs
- Die cuts with gold foil accents, 2 sheets each of 3 designs
- Night of Navy 1/2” Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon, 10 yards
- Very Vanilla/gold 1/4" Pleated Ribbon, 10 yards
- Paper flowers, 20 each in 2 sizes
- 12-piece Boho Indigo Dies
In addition to what came in the kit, I used some of the Brushed Metallic Cardstock in gold for some shiny accents along with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder on a couple of the cardstock pieces. That little trio of vases just makes me smile with the extra detail in the dies. After I cut them out, I cut some itty bitty pieces of the metallic cardstock and pieced them behind the vases. I just LOVE the extra detail it adds.
It gold leaves were a little large when I die cut them, so I had to snip them apart into two pieces to get them to fit into the middle vase. I finished the card with a trio of tiny gold Gilded Gems. There is a lot of different patterns and textures on the card but I think they all work together. Sketch challenge complete! Hooray!
