Beautiful Friendship Birthday for PP521

Happy Sunday  Time for a new creative challenge over at The Paper Players! This week, Claire is hosting our last challenge of 2020 and it’s a fun Color Challenge. 

We will be taking a couple weeks off after this challenge to celebrate the holidays and will return again on January 3rd, 2021. This is also our last challenge with our fabulous 2020 Guest Designers: Allisa Steinlicht, Stef Perry and Mary Deatherage. It has been so much fun working with these lovely ladies and we appreciate them so much. Thank you ladies! 

I had to fight the urge to make a holiday card with this color combo! Actually I started with a Christmas card but couldn’t quite get the elements where I wanted them. So, I scrapped it and went an entirely different direction. I remembered that I got a new pack of black and white themed Designer Series Paper in my new January - June Mini Catalog pre-order, so I grabbed that and got to creating. The True Love Designer Series Paper is a really fun mix of black and white prints, one side is florals and the other is smaller patterns, like the one I used on this card. It will be available January 5th when the new catalog launches. 

This card is a hodgepodge of a bunch of different products actually. I used the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set and dies from the Poppy Moments, Wild Rose and Peony Dies. I love how everything came together to create this elegant black & white birthday card!

Card Measurements and Details:

• Thick Whisper White Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” 
• Basic Black Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4” 
• Whisper White Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, embossed with Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder
• True Love Designer Series Paper (Sneak Peek): 1-1/4” x 5-1/8” 
• Silver Foil: 1” x 5-1/8”, die cut scalloped border using Poppy Dies
• Basic Black Cardstock: Die cut label from Wild Rose Dies, heat emboss sentiment from Beautiful Friendship stamp set in white
• Basic Black and Whisper White Cardstock: scraps to die cut solid poppy, poppy outline and poppy center from Poppy Moments Dies. Accent with Wink of Stella. 
• Vellum: die cut five of the small leafy accents from Poppy Moments Dies
• Rhinestones
