December 2020 - Kylie’s Demonstrator Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for December! We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all over the world sharing our love of stamping. We are all part of Bruno and Kylie Bertucci’s training group where we are having a great time learning and growing our Stampin’ Up!® businesses. If this is the first time you are visiting my blog, welcome! My name is Anne Marie Hile and I live in Texas in the United States. I’m so glad you stopped by today!

You may be starting here or have arrived from another blog - either way, you can find the link list of all of the participants at the bottom of this post. Happy Hopping!
Our theme for this blog hop is “Thank You”, specifically the thank you cards we are making to share with our customers this month.

I’m a little hooked on making Double Z-Fold cards lately after creating a few for a Mystery Stamping presentation I did for our team meeting this month. They are SO fun to showcase Designer Series Paper and have a fun “WOW” factor without being terribly difficult to create. You can see another Double Z-Fold card I recently created HERE

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.

Color Combo:
My card features some sneak peeks of new products that will be available on January 5th! The Sweet Strawberry stamp set and Strawberry Builder Punch will be in the new Stampin’ Up!® January - June Mini Catalog. This is such a cute bundle, I’m already having so much fun creating with it! There is also a coordinating bundle that you can earn for FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration from January 5th, 2021 - February 28th, 2021. It features the coordinating Berry Blessing stamp set and Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper. So cute, right?
I just love the bright and cheery colors on this card! I added a little stamping to the background to make the strawberries pop and of course, added more stamping to dress up the inside of the card. I also added Wink of Stella to the strawberries to make them super sparkly.

The Square Vellum Doilies are such fun accents to add to cards. What’s great is that you can use the whole doily or just a little bit to add some extra detail. To make the doily stand out a little more, I decided to heat emboss it. I simply cut about a 1-1/4” piece off the doily, then inked up the front of the doily in Versamark Ink. Once the piece was covered in ink, I sprinkled White Stampin' Emboss Powder all over and tapped off the excess. Then I heat embossed the doily to change it from frosted vellum to a shiny white.
Double Z-Fold Card Measurements and Details:
  • Pacific Point Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”
  • On the long side, score at 2-3/4” and 5-1/2”
  • Poppy Parade Cardstock: 3-1/4” x 9”
  • On the long side, score at 3” and 6”
  • Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper (strawberry/blueberry pattern): 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper (Poppy Parade plaid pattern): 4” x 2-1/2”
  • Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper  (Pacific Point gingham pattern): 3” x 2-1/2”
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 3” x 2-3/4” (2 pieces)
  • Use photos as a guide for how to adhere the layers together!
  • Pacific Point Cardstock: 2-3/4” x 1/2”, heat emboss sentiment in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and banner punch either end using Banners Pick-A-Punch
  • Poppy Parade Cardstock: scraps to stamp and die cut two strawberries
  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock: scraps to stamp and die cut two strawberry leaves
  • Accent stamped strawberries with Wink of Stella
  • Heat emboss piece of Square Vellum Doily with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder
  • Add gold bow (Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack) to strawberry stem
Finally, a look at the card all opened up. Such a fun way to showcase the beautiful patterns of Designer Series Paper and the fun fold element adds so much extra detail, don’t you think? If you needed some additional writing space for a personal note, you could always add a 5-1/4” x 4” piece of Whisper White Cardstock to the back of the card, as well.
