January 2021 - Third Thursdays Blog Hop

Welcome once again to our Third Thursdays Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up Demonstrators who love to share fun creative ideas. This month, our theme for the hop is A Sweet Sale. We are featuring products from either the new January - June 2021 Stampin’ Up!® Mini Catalog or the 2021 Sale-A-Bration Catalog.

I’ve listed all of the hoppers toward the end of the post, so make sure you stop by and see what everyone has to share today!

All of the measurements for my project are listed below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this blog post.
If you have visited me recently, its no secret that I’m absolutely smitten with the new Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch from the Mini Catalog. I don’t think it’s left my desk since I received it 2 months ago! It’s such a fun and cheery bundle, especially paired with the coordinating Ice Cream Shop Designer Series Paper.

Color Combo:
What I really like about this card layout is that even though it has a lot of layers, it comes together pretty easily. It’s also great to use a couple different pattens of the DSP together. How cute is that pattern with the sprinkles? After making this card, I went ahead and put together 20 more for a swap I participated in. The punch makes it super-easy to cut those cute ice cream cones out in a flash. I had to add the little heart (from the Dog Builder Punch) to the top of the cone because it was the perfect touch with the sentiment. This card just makes me smile…and now I’m craving some ice cream! :)

  • Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Ice Cream Shop Designer Series Paper (inside card): 1/2” x 5-1/4”
Finally a peek inside the card. I added a strip of that adorable sprinkle DSP and a coordinating stamped sentiment. I just LOVE the font in this stamp set!

  3. I love this Suite so much, but I've just not been able to stamp as much lately, so I haven't wanted to invest in it right now. I love what you've done, though! Thanks for sharing ☺️
