Snailed It Fun Fold for Facebook Live

Hello everyone! Yesterday, I did a “Sunday Funday" Facebook Live video sharing a card using the new Snailed It Bundle, which is available in the Stampin’ Up!® January-June Mini Catalog.

Please join me over on on my *Stampin’ Anne Facebook Page*, where do Live videos sharing fun Stampin’ Up!® projects. My set time for Facebook Live is Friday at 4:00pm CST, however I have been trying to pop on more often. Be sure to “Like” and “Follow” my Facebook Page so you get the notifications. If you can’t make it Live, you can always watch the replay. Also, I’d like to invite you to join my Stampin’ Anne Facebook Group for more updates, promotions, upcoming classes and exclusive projects. Everyone is welcome!

This Snail Mail Suite is DARLING! So many adorable products including the Snail Mail stamp set, Snail Dies, Snail Mail Designer Series Paper, Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack (white and pink) and the adorable Resin Heart Embellishments (white and red). The bright and happy colors instantly drew me to this bundle as they are my favorite colors to create with.

  Color Combo:
Talk about Happy Mail! Here is the finished card and I just love how it came out. All of the cute little elements work together so well and I especially love that the snail image can be cut from the Designer Series Paper using the Snail Dies. That makes it super easy to save some time on coloring. Yay for those timesaving creative shortcuts!
This fun fold is easy to make and is a great way to showcase this fun Snail Mail Designer Series Paper. Once you have the cardstock and DSP adhered to the card base, simply add the smaller folded cardstock layering fold together as shown in the photo above. Super cute!
Card Measurements and Details:
  • Bermuda Bay Card Base: 5-1/2” x 6-1/2”, score on long side at 2-1/8” to create front fold
  • Real Red Cardstock (front panel): 1-7/8” x 5-1/4”
  • Snail Mail Designer Series Paper (heart pattern, front panel): 1-3/4” x 5-1/8”
  • Real Red Cardstock (inside card panel): 4” x 5-1/4
  • Snail Mail Designer Series Paper (mail pattern, inside card panel): 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • Bermuda Bay Cardstock 6” x 3-1/2, score on long side at 3”
  • Basic White Cardstock (front panel): 2-3/4” x 3-1/8, embossed using Greenery Embossing Folder
  • Basic White Cardstock (inside panel): 2-3/4” x 3-1/8”, stamp sentiment and heart in Real Red Ink
  • Daffodil Delight Cardstock: scrap to die cut stitched square from Snail Dies, wrap baker’s twine around square twice
  • Real Red Cardstock: scrap to punch out one circle using 2” Circle Punch
  • Snail Mail Designer Series Paper (snail pattern): die cut snail image using Snail Dies
  • Bermuda Bay Cardstock: scrap to die cut one stitched envelope from Snail Dies, adhere sides and bottom of envelope, leaving top flap open
  • Basic White Cardstock: scrap to die cut one stitched “letter” from Snail Dies, stamp sentiment in Real Red ink, adhere inside envelope using Stampin’ Dimensional
  • Add Red Resin Heart Embellishment to envelope on snail image
  • Add three red rhinestones to card front
  • Tie a double bow using pink baker’s twine and add to card front using a Mini Glue Dot
Here’s a peek inside the card! I just love that “You’ve Got Mail” sentiment accented with the tiny heart. If you wanted a little more room to write a message to the recipient, you could always add a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Basic White Cardstock on the back of the card for a handwritten note.
