Hello there and Happy New Year! Can you believe it’s finally 2021? I think 2020 was just an odd year on SO many levels and we are all ready to move on to a fresh start! Dave and I rang in the new year relaxing at home in front of the fire with our pups. It was perfect! Despite the craziness that 2020 brought, we enjoyed reflecting on all of the positive things that came out of the year for us.

Our theme this month is to feature NEW products, either from the January - June 2021 Stampin’ Up!® Mini Catalog OR the 2021 Sale-A-Bration Catalog. It’s no secret that I’m a little smitten with the new Sweet Ice Cream Bundle in the Mini Catalog right now. It has NOT left my desk since it arrived and I’m really enjoying playing with the suite.
*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.
One of the things I really love about the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set is that there are SO many possibilities to make colorful cones. The coordinating Ice Cream Builder Punch makes it super-easy to cut out the images, too. The photo above shows the stack of ink colors I used to create this triple scoop of cuteness. I let the colors in the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper guide my color combo because let’s be honest…that sprinkle pattern is ADORABLE, right??
I added some different textures to the background, including the new Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. It just added some soft texture to the white background to help everything pop just a little more. I also couldn’t help popping in a tiny heart (from the Dog Builder Punch) on top of the ice cream to play off the sentiment. Of course, I had to add some Wink of Stella to the heart and Petal Pink layer for aded sparkle along with a trio of Champagne Rhinestones.

- Cinnamon Cider Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
- Coastal Cabana Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
- Whisper White Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, embossed using Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder
- Ice Cream Shop Designer Series Paper:
- Petal Pink Cardstock: 3” x 3”, embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, accent with Wink of Stella
- Whisper White / Basic White Cardstock: die cut 2-1/2” x 3-3/8” scalloped rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly Dies
- Whisper White / Basic White: scrap to stamp sentiment and die cut using 1-3/8” circle from Layering Circles Dies
- Whisper White / Basic White Cardstock: scrap to stamp ice cream scoops and cone
- Ice Cream #1: Scoop stamped in Petal Pink / sprinkles stamped in Terracotta Tile
- Ice Cream #2: Scoop stamped in Pool Party / sprinkles stamped in Coastal Cabana
- Ice Cream #3: Scoop stamped in Purple Posy / sprinkles stamped in Blackberry Bliss (Note: for the Purple Posy ink, which is currently unavailable - if you don’t have it you can substitute either a Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker or Highland Heather ink stamped-off once)
- Cone: Solid image stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink (stamped-off once) / cone detail stamped in Cinnamon Cider (full strength)
- Terracotta Tile Cardstock: scrap to punch one small heart from Dog Builder Punch, accent with Wink of Stella
- Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones
- Whisper White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”
- Ice Cream Shop Designer Series Paper (inside card): 3/4" x 4”
