Sweet Ice Cream for PP544

Happy Sunday, friends!
Time for a new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, the lovely Ann is hosting our monthly Theme Challenge.
I had SO many ideas for this theme challenge but as soon as I saw the graphic for the challenge, I was hooked on those fun popsicles as my inspiration. The Sweet Ice Cream stamp set is one of my favorites right now. I mean, who doesn’t LOVE ice cream, right? You can also get it with the coordinating Ice Cream Builder Punch, although I didn’t use the punch on this particular card. It’s still a “must have” with the stamp set!

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.

Color Combo:

I just love these little popsicles! They come together easily by stamping two different images together and I just love the added texture on the image. I realized I haven't really used the Blackberry Bliss striped pattern much from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper, so I paired it with Calypso Coral and Cinnamon Cider for these sweet treats.

This suite of product was originally featured in the Stampin’ Up!® January - June Mini Catalog. The stamps and punch will be carrying over into the new Annual Catalog, but the fun Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper and Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon will NOT. The are currently “while supplies last” until the Mini Catalog ends on June 30, 2021.
Card Measurements and Details:
  • Blackberry Bliss Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Calypso Coral Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • Calypso Coral Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 1-3/4” , embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
  • Basic White Cardstock: piece to die cut the largest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and a scrap piece for stamping the popsicles and sticks
  • Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon and Rhinestone Basic Jewels
  • Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper (inside card): 1/2” x 5-1/4”
Finally a peek inside the card. I added a coordinating strip of the DSP along with some stamped sprinkles to dress up the corners. Since this is a thank you card, I left room to write a handwritten note to the recipient.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our "Signs of Summer" Theme Challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday June 11th 2021
