My card features two of my favorite Sale-A-Bration items: the Peaceful Prints 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper and the Be Dazzling 6” x 6” Specialty Paper. The Peaceful Prints DSP also coordinates perfectly with the Peaceful Deer stamp set featured in the August - December Mini Catalog.
For my card, I decided to create a little woodland scene using the Peaceful Deer stamp set and the SAB papers. The trees were stamped in Garden Green ink, some stamped full-strength and some stamped-off once to lighten the color. I wouldn’t exactly call my card a “fun-fold”, it’s more of a “peek-a-boo” fold because I cut off 3/4” on the front of the card to showcase that super sparkly paper inside. I colored and fussy-cut the little critters and popped them up for added dimension.
It’s a little tough to see in the photos, but I “grounded” the deer and bunny with a generous brushing of Wink of Stella under their feet. Then, I took my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and tapped the brush end against my finger to create little “snowy splatters” in the background. It was tough to capture in the photos but the shimmery snow really pops in-person.

- Mint Macaron Card Base: 5-1/2” x 7-3/4”, scored at 4-1/4”
- Real Red Cardstock (front of card): 3-1/4” x 5-1/4”
- Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper (front of card, Sale-A-Bration): 3-1/8” x 5-1/8”
- Real Red Cardstock: 3-1/8” 4-1/8”
- Basic White Cardstock: 3” x 4”, stamp tree images in Garden Green ink, some stamped full-strength and some stamped-off once
- Basic White Cardstock: scraps to stamp deer, bunny and antlers, color with Stampin’ Blends and fussy-cut deer/bunny and punch stamped antlers out
- Basic White Cardstock: die cut a 1-3/8” circle from layering circles dies, stamp sentiment in Soft Suede ink
- Wink of Stella “splatters” on background and to create “ground” under the deer/bunny
- Real Red Sheer Ribbon and Red Rhinestone Jewels
- Real Red Cardstock (inside card): 4-1/4” x 5-3/4”
- Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, stamp trees in Garden Green ink (one set stamped-off once) and stamp sentiment in Soft Suede ink
- Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (inside card, Sale-A-Bration): 3/4” x 5-1/8”
Here is a look inside the card. I added a coordinating sentiment and some additional stamped trees to "keep the party going" from the front of the card. I just love that Be Dazzling Specialty Paper! It’s affectionately referred to as the “disco ball paper” between me and my stamping friends. A little goes a long way and it really adds awesome detail. After all, you can never have TOO much sparkle, right?
