Positive Inkers Global Design Team - April 2022

Hello there stamping friends! I’m thrilled to be blog hopping today with the Positive Inkers Global Design TeamWe are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the globe who are super-excited to share our love of creativity. I’m so happy you stopped by today!

If this is the fist time you are visiting, please let me introduce myself. My name is Anne Marie Hile and I live in San Antonio, Texas. Welcome!
Our theme for this month is: Flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog. There are SO many beautiful floral sets in the January - June Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog! I decided to create with the Flowering Tulips stamp set and coordinating Tulips Dies for my card.

*I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my cards below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post.
Color Combo:
Random question…do you watch or listen to anything while you create? Or do you just enjoy the silence? I’m usually either listening to a podcast or rocking out to my favorite tunes. The type of music varies with my mood but I’m always down for a good true crime podcast. Occasionally, I binge watch a series on Hulu or Netflix but for the most part, I like to create when all I have to do is listen, not watch. It helps to keep me focused on my card. Please share what your crafting “ambiance” looks like in the comments on this post. I’m curious.

This is the second time I've inked up this stamp set and It’s absolutely stunning, especially during the spring season. The stamps layer together beautifully to add so much texture to the stamped flowers.

I’ll be sharing how to make this card on my Facebook Live tomorrow (4/1) if you’d like more details on how to put it together.

**Edited to add, watch the Facebook Live replay below:

Card Measurements & Details:
  • Poppy Parade Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11", scored at 5-1/2" and folded in half
  • Pool Party Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Flowering Fields DSP: 2" x 5-1/8”
  • Basic White Cardstock: 2-3/4” x 5-1/8”, add some Pool Party ink to the background with Blending Brushes
  • Basic White Cardstock: scraps to stamp and die cut the tulip/leaf images.
  • Basic White & Poppy Parade Cardstock: scraps to die cut the sentiment circle and scalloped circle

  • Flowering Fields DSP (Sale-A-Bration, card interior): 3/4” x 5-1/8”
  • Basic White Cardstock (card interior): 4” x 5-1/4"
Here is a look inside the card. I added another strip of that gorgeous DSP along with a coordinating sentiment. This is a fun card to simply added a little strip of the Flowering Fields DSP and decided to leave the rest of the inside blank to accommodate a handwritten note to a friend.

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Please stop by to visit everyone on the hop and leave us a comment to say hello. We’d all love to hear from you and so appreciate you stopping by. Hope you enjoy all of the beautiful projects everyone shared today!

  1. Second time tonight I've come across that beautiful paper - it's just gorgeous and those pretty stamped blooms are the perfect accompaniment. I'd love to craft in silence but there's always the TV on in the background. My ultimate dream is a self-contained craft studio away from any noise lol
