Circle Sayings for PP649

Happy Sunday, friends!
Time for a fun new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, I am super-excited to be hosting our Clean-and-Simple (CAS) Challenge.
This week, my challenge is to create Clean-and-Simple (CAS) cards featuring things you can eat. Calling all foodies…haha! I sure hope you will take this challenge for a spin and join us over at The Paper Players. We’d love to see what YOU create!

*I’ve shared measurements and a full supply list of products used to create this card at the end of this post.
Color Combo:
For my card, I decided to use the sweet little cupcake from the Circle Celebrations stamp set. This set coordinates with the 2-3/8” Circle Punch and really makes a fun focal image, especially on a Clean-and-Simple card. I added a little texture to the background with the Basics 3D Embossing Folders and I love how the black really pops against the pastel colors. This is a cute card that’s perfect to send some birthday wishes!
Card Measurements and Details:
  • Bubble Bath Cardstock: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Basic Black Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, emboss with Basics 3D Embossing Folder
  • Basic Black Cardstock: scrap to punch circle with 2-3/8” Circle Punch
  • Basic White Cardstock: scrap to stamp sentiment / image in Memento ink and punch out with 2-1/4” Circle Punch
  • Color cupcake with Stampin’ Blends and accent with Wink of Stella
  • Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (Bubble Bath) and Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems (silver)
  • Basic White Cardstock (card interior): 4” x 5-1/4”
Finally, a peek inside the card. I added a coordinating birthday sentiment and another little cupcake. Because two birthday cupcakes are always better than one, right?

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our ”Bon Appetit” Clean-and-Simple ChallengeWe’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday July 21st, 2023

  5. OK. Will someone tell me where the real Anne Marie is - this card is missing about 6 layers? I swear, girl, you are getting better and better and better at CAS cards. You can no longer hide behind the "I'm not a CAS girl" anymore! I love how you kept the elements in the lower right hand side of the card and allowed them to shine amongst all that wonderful white space. Fabulous card.

  7. Ann Marie, your card immediately brought to mind the idea of a box with that design on the lid and inside would be 12 of the most perfect miniature cupcakes! YUMM! Did I say I love your card?!
