Pick of the Patch for PP662

Happy Sunday, friends!
Time for a fun new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, Joanne is hosting our Clean-and-Simple (CAS) Challenge.

The “Signs of Autumn” theme is so fitting for the timing of this challenge! We are finally getting a break from what seemed like an endless summer here and let me tell you, this cooler weather just makes me happy. The Autumn decor is up and the house smells like apples, cinnamon pumpkins and everything wonderful about this beautiful season. I sure hope you will take this challenge for a spin and join us over at The Paper Players. We’d love to see what YOU create!

*I’ve shared measurements and a full supply list of products used to create this card at the end of this post.
Color Combo:
I was immediately inspired to create with the adorable Pick of the Patch stamp set and coordinating Pick of the Patch Builder Punch from the Stampin’ Up!® Mini Catalog. Keeping it simple is always the hardest part of the challenge for me, so I decided on a pretty clean layout with a little pop of texture and some shiny details to round things out.The pumpkins and leaves were stamped in Versamark and heat embossed which really give a fun extra detail that really stands out in-person. The best part is that this card was pretty easy to create, so I whipped up a few to send out in the mail this week to some friends!

Measurements & Details:
  • Pumpkin Pie card base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”, embossed with Timber 3D Embossing Folder
  • Garden Walk Designer Series Paper: 3-7/8” x 1-1/4”, die-cut scalloped edge with largest frame in Scalloped Contours dies
  • Gold Adhesive-Backed Glimmer Paper: 3-7/8” x 1/8”
  • Basic White Cardstock: 2-3/4” x 1/2, stamp sentiment in Early Espresso ink and snip ends at an angle
  • Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green Cardstock: scraps to stamp pumpkins and leaves in Versamark ink, heat emboss in Clear Embossing Powder and punch out
  • Early Espresso Cardstock: scrap to punch out pumpkin stems
  • Simply Elegant Trim & Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins
